“Best Vacation Ever!!!!!”

Reviewed 5 Jul 2016

My family came from as far away as California, Arkansas and Maryland and it was a house full. This house accommodated us perfectly, very spacious and fully equipped with everything that you could possibly need. The owner was great to work with, very helpful and friendly. This house has a fantastic view of the bay and the sunset at night. We totally loved our stay there and will be coming back again. Dianne

“Peaceful relaxing and comfortable stay”

A lovely home equipped with everything. Comfortable furniture, nice linens, plenty of towels, great kitchen, lots of space and fantastic views all around house. A wonderful house and great location, convenient to everything. Looking forward to our next stay!

Owner's reply: I'm very pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Ravens Nest!

“Tranquil”

This is the first time I have ever rented a beach house and it couldn't have been any better. The home is beautiful. Spacious, comfortable and tranquility at its best. The location was superb. Water all around. With this being located on the last street it was peaceful. I loved the area. Close to Food Lion, Walgreens, Harpoon Hannah's, Kohrs frozen custard, shopping and just easy to get anywhere fast. I was at peace the entire week. I can't wait to go back. Great family memories were made there. Fun to ride on the gulf cart too. Just the BEST stay !!!!!

Owner's reply: Great to hear you had a great time!

“Heaven on Fenwick”

Reviewed 27 Aug 2012

We just returned home from a one week stay at Raven's Nest in Fenwick Island. Wow! The only bad thing to say is that I regret not staying for two weeks. It was absolutely perfect. We did not have a large crowd but found it to work for of us, especially for my 91 year old dad. He has difficulty with stairs so the elevator was wonderful. It made it so easy to access any area of the home as did the golf cart for the neighborhood and pool. Speaking of the neighborhood, you could not ask for a nicer area or people in it! Very special to say the least. We thoroughly enjoyed it all. The views, especially the sunsets, were phenomenal! We had room to spread out and be cozy at the same time. There is a nice variety in the scenic balconies, and everything was provided for us. Just bring the food and the suntan lotion-you're set. Can't wait to go back, even our little dog loved it. It's truly impressive. Thanks Mary. I am beyond happy to have found you and Raven's Nest.

Owner's reply: Connie, We are so.......happy you enjoyed your stay at Ravens Nest. Please come back again!!

“We had a ball!!!!”

Reviewed 6 Jul 2011

I am usually one to pack 10 suit cases to go away for 10 days, but this trip I could have done it in 1. Everything you need is there. Don't bring extra sheets, don't worry about kitchen utinsels, fans or grills. Raven's Nest has it all. Some of our favorite times were spent on the screened in porch on the 2nd floor, it was a great place for the adults to talk and unwind. One morning we had a few showers and the kids stayed out there and played cards. The accomodations are great and the rooms were a perfect fit for us. The one room with the bunks is a little tight if you have 8-12 year olds staying in there with parents. The King size bedrooms have plenty of room and the queen canal is perfect for two people. If you like a balcony for sunbathing, the fifth room is for you, however it has a pull out couch for a bed. The two bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom. The King on the 2nd floor (above the garage) has a private en suite, the canal queen and the bunks share another bathroom. The laundry room was another great feature. Fishing is right at your front door, down the street or on the beach dock at the end of the street, and the sunsets over the bay are fantastic. I would not recommend the beach at the end for swimming, but the pool is clean and lots of fun and has a lifeguard on duty. The State park beach is where we went and it was clean and cheap, pack a lunch and you are set for the day. There are beach chairs and umbrellas in the garage along with the kayak's and life vests. The golf cart was great for me since I have knee trouble. The kids had a great time and were better than the adults, LOL.... AC keeps the house comfortable and I didn't have to worry about using the fans I brought with me. There are two food shopping stores nearby and the prices are not bad. The restaurants leave something to be desired compared with ours in NJ bu we had a great time bar-b-queing and had two entree's every night, kid pleasing and adult fare. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did. FYI: We had 8 adults and 5 kids.

Owner's reply: Wonderful to hear!!

“Birthday weekend”

Reviewed 24 Mar 2011

We did have a wonderful weekend at Ravens Nest. Absolutely beatiful house - the description and pictures do not do it justice! Luxurious linens, a well appointed kintchen, and all immaculately clean. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and really relax. We loved enjoying the views of 3 balconies and had a great time in the house. The weather was really good and we could see Ocean City lights at night. Tons of interesting things to do 15 minutes or less away. Very romantic!!!!

“wonderful wedding weekend!”

"We came to Raven's Nest for our small family wedding celebration in September and it was perfect. The sunset behind us on the Bay from the top deck provided a beautiful setting and the lower porch, kitchen and great room were perfect for the crab dinner afterwards. 12 slept comfortably and the young adults loved kayaking and biking. The house was immaculate, well equipped, and pretty. Both our friends that came and those who saw our pictures want to come to Raven's Nest in Fenwick for their family celebrations! We will definitely recommend it and hopefully come to stay again. Thanks!"

Stayed Oct 15-19th, 14. We had a wonderful time visiting with our family. Thank you for the use of your home it worked out great for us. My brother and his family live in Panama City and my Dad and sister and her family in Bonifay so Destin is a nice meeting area for us. Lots of places to eat and the beach is just beautiful. We are all from Illinois but my family all loved Florida so much they all moved there leaving me and my family in the cold north.
