“So Relaxing!”

Reviewed 12 Oct 2014

A beautiful home for our family getaway! We were able to relax and have fun without being to packed in under each other. The pictures don't do the house justice! Would recommend to anyone looking for a lake retreat.

“Fun for the Whole Family!”

Reviewed 3 Jul 2014

House was perfectly laid out for our needs. Well equipped inside and out! Especially loved the kayaks an canoes! Great location. Quiet cove ... Just a short drive to stores. Owners wonderful to work with. Hope to make it back next year!

Owner's reply: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR GREAT REVIEW. Having people like you share our beautiful lake home makes it all worth while. Also thanks so much for taking good care of our home and for appreciating the detailed checkout list that we worked so hard on. So many people have told us how much they appreciate the guidance. We give reasons behind simple requests. Thank you also for putting on two loads of sheets, when we only asked for one to be put on, since you had the time packing up. That helps so much

Owner Supplied Testimonials

March 28, 2013 - Thank you very much. Your home is the best we ever stayed in. We never went down to enjoy your game room, we were too busy with "Clemson". Your check out check list sure made things easy! Thank you very much!

May 29, 2013 - We went for the weekend with the girls. It was my mom, her sisters, my sister and a friend. We had plenty of room and enjoyed the beautiful views. We did a little sight seeing but really enjoyed hanging out and cooking at the house. Great kitchen, large game room and plenty of comfortable sleeping areas for a group. Lake Keowee is beautiful and we would love to come back when the weather allows us to enjoy the lake more but the surrounding area has plenty to offer anytime. Thanks for great accommodations for a great family gathering.

May 9, 2013 - We stayed at the house during our daughter's Clemson graduation. We were very pleased with the house. The view was stunning and the house was spacious with all the accommodations you need for a lake getaway. We would definitely come back.

May 17, 2013 - Great home for a weekend getaway for the whole family! We had a wonderful time - the home was more than accomadating for the people staying - the view of the lake was spectacular and the drive time was nothing - the home is 10 mins or less from any type of restaurant you could imagine and the overall time spent was very enjoyable! Well worth staying here and I would do it again

May 24, 2013 - The listing description was quite accurate. The listing photos accurately reflected the home's appearance and amenities. We were impressed with how well the property was maintained. It was very clean. We enjoyed the canoes and being on the dock. We loved the screened in porch...especially with small children. We liked the gradual entrance to the lake. This was helpful for the grandparents and small children. The owner was vey helpful. The grandchildren enjoyed playing with the toys. Having Wi-Fi was nice. The view of the lake was beautiful! It seems like the owners thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it to our friends and family. We look forward to coming back next year.

June 7, 2013 - We did not even watch TV! We sat down on the screen in porch, and loved the view of the lake. One day we went and rented a pontoon boat and was on the lake from 9am till 5pm. We loved it! Our second day, we went out on the lake with the owners canoes! That was great fun! The house is perfect for a family or a girls getaway!

June 22, 2013 - I can't say enough good things about this vacation home. The home is nicely and comfortably decorated with awesome lake views -- it is better in reality than the pictures. The owners are very responsive and have added many thoughtful touches to enhance your stay. The home and the kitchen are very well equipped with many extras like toys for the children and small appliances. We spent many hours on the screened porch overlooking the lake, at the dock, swimming in the clear and clean lake, and canoeing. The house easily accommodated our family ranging in age from 2 to 80. It was, in a word, perfect.

August 3, 2013 - Our group of 8 (6 adults, 1 teen, 1 toddler) could not have been happier during our week's stay. Everything was as described (if not better than) in the description. With plenty of room to spread out, each family had a level with a bedroom and private bath to themselves. The property was clean and has a beautiful view of the lake. Very peaceful and relaxing. The owners were extremely responsive and a definite pleasure to do business with. We would, without hesitation, recommend this property!
