“Great place to stay”

Reviewed 15 Feb 2017

We had a wonderful time for our mini, mid-winter ski vacation. The house was clean, hot tub was functional & easily accessible, the owners had a shovel out so that we could clear off the newly fallen snow, and there was a place to park at the bottom of the driveway since our vehicle couldn't make it up the driveway. Overall a good experience and we had plenty of room to sleep and move around the cabin. I only give it a 4 star because the original listing said that it was a brand new home and it's clearly not. Maybe a brand new listing for the rental agancey, so the wording should be changed. It didn't bother our crew, but others might be looking for brand new.

Had one of the best times of my life in the cabins! Thank you for letting us in, I would recomend this to anyone, loved it so much.

“What I was looking for”

Reviewed 29 Jan 2016

The house is big enough to accommodate 12 adults and has a great deck and living room space. Master loft is nice as well. The house wasn't as "up to date" as other places I've stayed, but for our purposes and at the price I paid it worked out well.

“Great Time!!”

Reviewed 6 Oct 2015

We had a wonderful trip. There were 11 of us. The weather was not so good, but in the end we realized it was for the better because we all stayed in together. We never felt crowded except for maybe in the kitchen which is small but sufficient. The hot tub is wonderful. The place was very clean. I had a couple of questions when we got there and my call was answered promptly and satisfactorily. We would definitely consider renting this property again.

“Great Family Getaway”

Reviewed 9 Jul 2014

Cabin was just as described. Beautiful-5 bedrooms - fully equipped. We enjoyed the fire pit with s'mores under a gorgeous starry sky. Room for everyone to sprawl out to watch a movie - or play games on the big bar area. Ages 9 to 75 - we all enjoyed our stay. The bad news is there is no cablle TV or wifi. The good news is we were forced to go without TV or wifi for 4 days! We survived. There is life without internet!

“Winter Retreat”

Reviewed 13 Jan 2013

My wife and I stayed at this property with four other couples in January 2013. In general we had a wonderful time. The cabin was very warm and the decor made it feel very cozy. The bedding was adequate and the place was clean. Those of us who used it, enjoyed the hot tub very much. There was an extensive DVD collection from which we enjoyed watching movies in the evening. Our only complaints were that in general none of the little extras (slot machine/dart board/pinball machine) work. It is also very difficult to sit at the main table in the living room area because everyone needs to sit side saddle on the bar stools. Ice was not cleared from the main steps and was hazardous the whole time we were there. No salt was provided either. In general though the driveway was plowed and we didn't have too many troubles getting around. At the end of the day, I would definitely consider this property for rental again. It is just hard to beat a warm/cozy place to stay with 5 beds and none of those being twins/bunks. I appreciated that my communications with the owner were also easy/professional.

“Serenity Falls”

We took our family for a much needed getaway. I packed everything but when I got there I found that they house had everything you could possibly need except towels (which we knew to bring) The house was exactly what we were looking for..had an awesome time. Will like to rent again in the fall.

“Cabin in the woods”

Reviewed 14 Feb 2012

This is a great cabin in the woods for the price. This cabin will not readily accommodate groups greater than 12, which is different from how it is sold on this website. Also, this cabin is approximately 30 minutes away from Seven Springs, a good bit farther than we had been lead to believe before renting. Outside of the logistics, it was clean, well equipped, and a great weekend get-away for a group. With no cable and internet connection, you can really get away and relax in the hot-tub!

“good service”

Reviewed 15 Jan 2012

the house was clean. we had an issue with the hot tub the first night that was handled quickly (it was set to sleep mode). the contact for the house was fast at responding and super nice. i would not hesitate to go back again. if you go when its snowing better have 4 wheel drive for the drive way though because it is in the mountains!

“Seven Springs Review”

Reviewed 4 Aug 2011

Good place for a central hub for local traveling, but not good for young children because of lack of proper yard (all gravel no grassy area). We had fun going to the surrounding areas, but dont trust your gps; ours turned us around so many times it was rediculous; due to a bridge being out.
