Description of the Sevierville vacation cabin rental
Only 5 miles from Pigeon Forge Pkwy, a short 10-12 minute drive gets you away from it all after a busy day exploring, entertainment, shopping and restaurants and don't forget the activities available for all members of the family to have fun.

Wilderness Ridge won't disappoint for your next getaway in the Smokies, spacious accommodations in this mountain lodge of over 4000 sq. ft. on only 2 floors. Cathedral ceilings in the upstairs bedrooms, great room and living room as well the loft area, give you room to relax. Comfortable furniture and enough furniture to enjoy an extended stay was what was missing when we were renting vacation homes in the area for approx. 10 years and this cabin has it in 3 different seating areas in the cabin. We also have a large screened in porch with a 4th seating area along with a second dining area for the family to enjoy those spring/summer mountain breezes.

Wilderness Ridge is perched on a ridge over the road in a resort setting with no properties to the left, right or behind, just the woods to enjoy the wildlife that comes out to visit. Across the road you see only the roof tops of the cabins built below the road, so if seclusion is what you are seeking for a family get together this cabin has it.

Wilderness Ridge is professionally decorated with 4 bedrooms all with attached bathrooms, comfortable king size log beds adorned with country quilts, wood blinds, hardwood floors for a comfortable night sleep. Awake to the sounds of wildlife wild turkeys, deer, occasionally bears, wood peckers and many.

Rustic elegance is found in this mountain lodge, the dining room seats 12 (maximum number of guests) with the adjacent breakfast bar and a well stocked kitchen. The great room boasts 22 foot cathedral ceiling with a small mezzanine to see the mountain sides light up at night, for me a quiet reading nook with comfortable lodge furniture to get lost in your best novel.

You have WIFI, outdoor fire pit area in the large useable back yard with free firewood provided, 108 feet of wrap around front side covered porch to enjoy the mountain views with Tennessee rockers and porch swings. My favorite spot to unwind and enjoy mother nature right at your doorstep.

Bringing along your elderly grand parents for a family get together, Wilderness Ridge's main floor Pheasant bedroom provides a larger bathroom with grab bars and raised ASA approved toilet, walk in shower with hand held shower wand with a built in bench. Over 2200 sq. feet of indoor living space all on one floor to enjoy family time swapping stories and wonder family memories along a handicapped ramp for easy access to the large covered front and side porch and open back deck as well the large screened in porch provides in total over 3000 sq. feet of living space all on one floor.

Wilderness Ridge is in a resort setting with paved roads, nestled in the foothills of the Smokies without being too high up in the mountains for those winter stays. County maintains the roads for those snowy days.
