Description from owner

SAVE ON ALL REMAINING 2016 DATES! GREAT LODGE FOR LARGE FAMILIES, QUILT AND SCRAPBOOK RETREATS, CHURCH GROUPS, AND WEDDINGS!

RING THE WHOLE FAMILY TO THE LODGE FOR CHRISTMAS! CALL ABOUT DISCOUNTS ON REMAINING OPEN DATES!!!

This beautiful 6400 sq ft log home sits tucked back in a private cove of Douglas Lake. It has 8 beautiful bedrooms, 5 1/2 baths, two large living areas, a commercial kitchen, and a 1200 sq ft dining hall, which easily converts into a small wedding chapel, conference/meeting room, or workroom for quilters or scrapbookers.

The Lodge at Douglas Lake offers the best of both worlds. Guests enjoy the privacy of our wooded 12 acres on the lake, yet they are just minutes from downtown sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Dollywood, Splash Country, LeConte Convention Center, the Island, the Old Mill area, Ripken Experience, and the Smoky Mountain National Park.

Many churches use our lodge as a base when attending concerts and events in Sevierville or Knoxville. Youth groups love our outdoor areas with walking trails, fire pit, the "beach" area by the lake, our private boat dock, basketball goal, paved parking lot, and gravel area for volleyball.

The lodge appeals to both adults and children and we have hosted many family reunions. The children have lots of room to play while the adults visit on our wrap-around decks or prepare meals in the commercial kitchen.

We have plenty of extra tables and padded chairs for weddings or banquet meals, plus extra electrical outlets, fans, a cutting station, irons and ironing boards, and more for our quilting or scrapbooking friends.

If you are passing through the area, we would be happy to give you a tour of the lodge (during vacancies) and show you our lovely handmade quilts on the beds, the well-maintained flower beds, and our meticulously maintained building and grounds.

Beds: 3 King Beds, 8 Queen Beds, 5 Twin Beds, 6 Sofa Beds
