Description of the Sevierville vacation home rental
Right on the River! Peaceful Mountain Retreat, where Memories are Made. Classic Farmhouse with modern comforts. Perfect Location: Only a few minutes from Dollywood, shopping malls, shows, and other attractions. Yet seems far away from town. Why go all the way to Townsend for the "Peaceful Side of the Smokies" we have it right here! Easy access; NO steep or curvy mountain roads. Private place on the River for Swimming, Fishing (Trout, Bass, and more!), Tubing, Kayaking, Skippin' Rocks, Crawdad Huntin', Roastin' Marshmellows on the Campfire, Catchin' Fireflies, or just Hangin' out. Private Hiking Trails. The Farmhouse is surrounded by lush mountain ridges and green rolling hills that flow to the water's edge. With 4 bedrooms & 3 Full Baths, this home provides both privacy and togetherness. Wrap around porch, hardwood floors, full service kitchen, jacuzzi, and all the amenities including unlimited high speed WiFi, high end appliances, Direct TV incl. local channels, Wii, and lots of other games. Built to replace the "old homeplace", the house was designed to look like an original on the century old family farm. This is a Home with Real beds to sleep 8 adults-no pull outs or futons here! This is an ideal location-whether you've come for a nature retreat, to shop, or to enjoy other activities. 10 minutes (or less) to Dollywood and Splash Country. No other rental in sight and lots of yard space. Just a few steps from the River: Walk out the front door, onto a grass covered bank and be on the Middle Prong of the Little Pigeon River. Sometimes referred to as the "Greenbrier", it is a clean, free flowing stream. It has been rated the cleanest river in Tennessee, one of the cleanest East of the Mississippi, and it is the only clean river in Sevier County. At just the right elevation to offer a wide variety of fish (cold enough for trout, warm enough for others), it is deep enough (year round!) to swim, tube, canoe, and kayak, yet mild enough to offer fun for all ages and abilities. Fish from the bank, wade, float tube, or kayak. Spin fishing, Bait fishinng, Fly fishing (plenty of room to cast!) or Cane pole fishing, it's all good at Spence Cove! Take a stroll up the river road. Grab your tube and float back down to the house. Lie on the grassy river bank in the warm sun or under the shade tree while the kids catch crawdads and play in the river. Watch the Kingfishers snatch a meal from the water's surface. Gaze in awe at the majestic Great Blue Herons as they glide over the river. Watch the Sunset on the River from the swing or a rocking chair on the spacious wrap around porch. Enjoy the light show of fireflies. See the moon glisten on the river as it rises over the mountain. Star gaze at a night sky, unhindered by the lights of the city. Drift off to sleep to a Smoky Mtn Symphony: the roar of the river and the calls of cicadas, crickets, and katydids. Awake refreshed by the river breeze, mountain air, and the joyous birds chirping "Good Morning". It may be the best rest of your life! And, it Will be your Best Vacation Ever.

Tired of staying at the cookie cutter rental cabin five feet away from the next rental? Tired of driving curvy and steep mountain roads to get there? Tired of the impersonal, "business" attitude of vacation rental companies? Not a "spec" house hurriedly built to make money, but a True Home we happily share with you! Spence Cove River Farmhouse is family owned and operated. We offer superior customer service and are available 24/7 . This location offers privacy and plenty of room to breathe; it is in a rural residential area-not a "development". Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is so special about Spence Cove?
A: LOCATION! Nowhere near another vacation rental, a modern, classic farmhouse on a historic century old family farm, plenty of yard space, and separation from neighbors. Best of All-There is no better place on the River! The perfect, private swimming hole. Great fishing year round-wild and stocked Rainbow Trout, Trophy size Smallmouth Bass, and many other species. Awesome tubing, kayaking, and canoeing location-for short and longs trips. Hike to a mountain top or a take a gentle stroll along the river. Or for those who just want to relax-Nothing compares to Sitting on the Porch Swing looking out across that Beautiful River!
Q: But I want to shop 'til I drop, how far away are the malls?
A: Just a hop, skip, and a jump away! Be at Five Oaks Mall, Walmart and others in 15-20 minutes (or less) with NO traffic en route and no crazy curvy roads to get there. While Spence Cove may feel like it is a world away, it is, in fact, closer and/or a quicker drive to the malls than the majority of vacation rentals. Unless you want to stay in a cramped hotel room or "condo" in the midst of the hustle and bustle
Q: How far from Dollywood and NASCAR and Go-Kart places?
A: You can't get much closer to Dollywood-you can hear the Dollywood train whistle blow from the Farmhouse. It is less than 10 minutes away to the parking lot. Go 2 miles further and be at NASCAR and all of the amusements in Pigeon Forge and Sevierville.
Q: Will my family really have the Best Vacation Ever?
A: While we cannot guarantee it, the odds are certainly stacked in your favor! How many vacations have you taken that please only part of the family? With the variety and options of activities (and inactivity!) on the property and the convenient location to malls and attractions, a stay at Spence Cove offers the chance to please everyone in the family. Many families have made special memories to last a lifetime at the cove: a child's first time fishing, campfire's with marshmellows and S'mores, catchin' crawdads and tadpoles, tubing, swimming... Spence Cove River Farmhouse is the perfect set up to succeed at making this the Best Vacation Ever!
Q: Ok, but how's the Farmhouse-is it suitable for a family gathering?
A: Awesome! A great floor plan, mostly hardwood floors and no over the top decor, the Farmhouse is a warm, inviting, and comfortable home. Unlike the typical vacation rental, there is a full service kitchen, high end appliances: double oven with warming function, glass top stove, roomy fridge with freezer on the bottom, nice dishwasher, microwave, double sink, nice dishes and silverware (no mix and match junk like you find in most rentals), pots and pans galore. Top of the line extra large capacity Whirlpool Cabrio washer (top loading "he") and extra large dryer (with steam function). House is designed to facilitate "private time" as well with 4 separate bedrooms and 3 full baths. The spacious porch is an atypical 10 feet deep - perfect for "outdoor" meals.
