Charming and romantic holiday rental in Chianti
|Per week||€800 - €1,300|
Half way between the medieval walls of Monteriggioni (Monsregionis) and the wonderful city of Siena (in 10 minutes distance from each other), is located the property The Well.
It is a big house of hunting lodge of the 15th century, to which a Chapel in the 18th and other out-buildings in the 19th century have been annexed.
Vines and olive trees, cypresses, firs, planets, ilexes are around the property for about 14 hectares.
Place of peace and meditation, rich of colours and strong feelings.
Some agricultural annexes (barns, warehouses, etc.) have been recently restored to become beautiful stone houses.
A small jogging path runs in the large property through the scents of the nature and the barbecue allows to cook meats and vegetables for your "al fresco" dinners.

Reviews for this vacation cottage rental in Siena, Tuscany, Italy
March 3, 2008
Six of us rented The Viletta cottage for two weeks in mid-september. The setting is beautiful: a vineyard on a hillside. The cottage is spacious and nicely furnished. We enjoyed dinners on the patio and late afternoons by the pool. Villa il Pozzo is close to Sienna and San Gimignamo, among other interesting places. Every day we went to a different village and enjoyed long hikes and great lunches in local restaurants. The hostess of Villa il Pozzo is most gracious, she cooked a superb meal for us. In fact, her home cooked dinner was the best meal we ate in all of Italy. She served us some of her own wine, local cheese, fresh figs and the best apple strudel ever. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, it is a real find.
