Tropical Beach Getaway at Sandy's Siesta!!
From $121 / night
|Per week:||$850 - $1,590|
Pets allowed: No
The condo grounds run from bay to gulf and are loaded with amenities. There are two tennis courts (one lighted), two heated pools, covered private parking, gas grills, boat docks, outdoor bathrooms and showers (for rinsing off the beach sand), within this private, gated community. Or, you can simply sip a glass of wine and watch the dolphins and manatees that swim just beyond the sliding glass door from our first floor condo!
Walk to your private beach with merely sunscreen, towels, and your flip flops. The beach attendant is there to provide you with lounge chairs and umbrellas. There, you will enjoy one of the most beautiful and unique beaches in the world. Made from crushed quartz instead of crushed sea shells, Crescent Beach has a cool, powdered sugar feel. It is NEVER hot, regardless of the temperature! Once there, the clear azure waters of the Gulf of Mexico will welcome you for a dip.
If looking for excitement, Siesta Key and Sarasota are waiting to show you what they got. Kayak/jet ski rentals, boat/fishing charters, biking, parasailing, golf and tennis facilities are numerous. Siesta Key village is filled with restaurants, various boutiques, and terrific ice cream. World class shopping is located in nearby St. Armand's Circle. Just across the bridge, Sarasota offers fantastic shopping, lots of casual and formal dining, museums, zoos, and all the amenities any city has to offer.
The warmth of the Florida sun and the beauty and convenience of Siesta Key await. Just like us, you too will find this place beckons you back again and again.

A Great Getaway!
A Great Getaway!

We recently spent a week in Siesta Key, our fourth year in a row making this our Fall vacation spot. This year, we we fortunate to find an available week at Sandy' Siesta that matched out travel plans. What a great spot! A short walk to the beach and several great dining spots and lovely, fully renovated condo... a home away from home. Kudos to Sandy for the personal attention to ensuring our visit went well. Sandy's Siesta rental review

My husband and I just spent 2 wonderful weeks at Sandy's condo located in Siesta Key. This was our first visit to Siesta Key, but it definitely won't be our last. First let me say that Sandy is by far the best rental owner we have worked with to date and we have been renting for several years now. She was very accessible & she responded almost immediately to any and all inquiries I sent regarding our stay at her Midnight Cove Condo. The condo itself exceeded our expectations and met all our needs during our stay. The online pictures and descriptions of the condo and property are true and accurate (which isn't often the case). The Midnight Cove property itself is located on the quieter side of the island and is within a few miles of many great restaurants and shopping facilities. It boasts two nice pool areas and has a private beach that adjoins to one of the nicest public beaches in all of Florida. We enjoyed walking the beach every morning and then sitting by the pool in the afternoon. I cannot think of anything that I would change about the condo or its location. We are hoping to come back to Siesta Key next year and we would definitely rent this condo again if possible.

Great condo and beach vacation....We will be back!
Great clean condo! The beds were too comfortable and the condo was well equiped with everything we needed. The kids loved the heated pools and we loved the lighted tennis courts. The beach is unbelievable, especially with the chairs that are there for Midnight Cove only. Walked to Capt. Curt's for great seafood and drinks. There is a pizza place next to Capt. Curt's, I can't think of the name of it, but has great breakfast and pizza. Thanks Sandy! We will be back next August.

Lovely Property, Terrific Location
My family and I enjoyed our stay in this nicely remodeled condo. The furnishings were lovely and everything was neat and clean! My son enjoyed fishing in the canal behind the condo and the beach was just a short walk away. We did not make use of the two pools due to the unusually cold weather but they were a nice feature. We would certainly stay here again when visiting Siesta Key.

Great Place to stay
My family of 4 stayed here June 11-17th. The condo was great. Living area was nice, clean and roomy. The master bedroom was a good size, with a big closet plus linen storage area. 2nd bedrrom had two twin bed, tv, large closet which was perfect for my kids. Galley style kitchen meet our cooking needs for the week. We were about a 10 minute walk from the beach. Follow the path out your back door, cross over midnight pass, walk another trail and there is beach access. There were plenty of chairs but apparently quite a few of the umbrella's have been taken. You definetly need some kind of shade while you are on the beach. The beach was beautiful and the water was warm, clean and clear. I would definetly recommend this place.

This was a beautiful place to stay and very convenient to the beach, shopping and good places to eat. We felt very comfortable and at home during our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better host, we had a great time and lots of memories that we will cherish for a life time. We will definitely be looking to return sometime in the future.

Perfect Time, Perfect Beach, Perfect Home Away from Home
My wife and I stayed here for a lovely week while on our 'Babymoon'. We had never stayed on the Bayside and this was our first time staying in Midnight Cove. The beach was great and the attendant was very helpful. Sandy was extremely helpful in answering all our doubts and questions and was a great joy to work with and a great host. The remodeled condo is beautiful and we felt very relaxed.
My wife and I flew down from Cincinnati and didn't have a lot of room to back board games, dvds, or playing cards. I would suggest packing some if you are like us and enjoy a good game or two.
We will definitely be returning sometime soon with our newest addition.

Pre-Christmas in our Ground Floor Unit with a Washer and Dryer!
For anyone who has rented on Siesta Key, although there are many lovely places to stay very few have a washer and dryer in the unit. Boy does that help if you are trying to live out of carry on luggage!
They also had a cupboard full of beach towels! I didn't have to purchase one and leave it this year! There were beach toys for kids and an umbrella. There is no need for chairs as they are provided around the pool and at the beach. Not all complexes provide chairs on the beach.
The owners are very open to suggestions and take pride in providing everything necessary.
As described, the unit is nicely appointed, very clean, tastefully decorated, has a large living area and a book full of helpful hints to make your stay easier. Beautiful views from the living area to the Canal. Easy instructions to hook up your computer. The bedrooms are small but the beds are super comfy. It is 1 and 1/2 baths.
I'd recommend this unit for a single person, couple or family. But I would hesitate to recommend it to 4 adults unless you are very well acquainted because there is only one full bath.
***Note to those going before Christmas****:
We arrived in the evening and we were blown away by all the lovely Christmas lights on every complex on Midnight Pass Road. In Sarasota Bay there was a Parade of Lights but with boats and beautiful yachts instead of street floats. People went to the waterfront with lawn chairs, coolers and santa hats and lined the shore. It was an amazing sight and it was featured on Canada AM when we got home!

Our stay was excellent. Condo is very nice. We liked the first floor and end of the building. Laundry in the condo was super to have. Having WiFi was great also. I am short, so a little step stool to reach higher cabinets would be good to have. Having rights to chairs and umbrella on the beach was great. No need to take your own stuff. We lucked out and had just wonderful weather the entire month.

What a great condo on a great property.
Sandy, We loved everything about our stay. The condo is spacious, well appointed, decorated beautifully...all making our stay feel like we were at home. Love the ground level, and the covered parking 15 steps from the front door. We really enjoyed the bay side property of Midnight Cove. Also spacious, quiet, nicely landscaped, with abundant, beautiful views of its own...the canal and garden view from the condo, the little harbor dock, the bay...all very nice. Loved having a little yard for the kids to run around in (quietly of course). The walk to the beach was manageable. For those traveling with a bunch of beach stuff I recommend having some one park across the street in the morning (in a non-numbered spot) with all of your gear in the car. While there, reserve some beach chairs/umbrella. Walk back to the room and have your coffee....returning when your ready. Pack everybody up in the car when you are done with the beach...more efficient than waiting for an elevator at other places directly on the beach.

Easter in Siesta Key
Terrific Easter week in Siesta Key, and at Midnight Cove! Enjoyed the beach daily, wonderful dinners & shopping in the Village of Siesta Key, and some fun nights at the Tiki Bar. Condo had beautiful updates, super amenities, and access to the lanai & Bay for some of after-beach fun & relaxation.

My fiance and I just got back from 7 heavenly days in Siesta Key! The condo was a perfect home away from home! Most of our time was spent enjoying the gorgeous beach/ocean as the condo is located right across the street (a short walk). Thank you Sandy for making it so easy for us to plan our vaca!

The condo was extremely clean, very nicely decorated. Appliances were top notch! Loved the brand new front-load washer & dryer!!! Kids loved the Zebra chair! The beach toys, boogie boards, & beach cart all came in very handy.
Loved everything & would highly recommend this condo to a friend or family member!

Wonderful Place, Everything As Described And More
When you walk in, you will be amazed. This place is tastefully done, spotlessly clean and has some wonderful furnishings. They provide a hair dryer, great selection of pillows, nice linens, magazines, books, loads of beach towels, fishing poles (although one of the reels was broken because people are not cleaning the salt water out of them.) They even thought of a magnifying make-up mirror! Lamps are in just the right places, DVD player, even a printer (although there is a cable missing we think), a beach trolley and beach toys for the kids. If you plan to eat there you will need paper towels, a couple of garbage bags, coffee, filters, some foil, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent and your food. I left foil, paper towels, detergents, etc., but I am told they will be removed. The washer and dryer are the best I've ever used and the rules say you must wash everything up before you leave (except for the sheets and towels you had that morning), so you would need laundry detergent. All the bath towels are white, so I bought bleach too. The king bed was really comfortable (we didn't use the twins.) Your hosts have thought of everything. The only thing we found a bit disappointing was a tiny lanai - not big enough for a table - but....they didn't say they had one either! Beach chairs and umbrellas provided at the beach. Oh - and if you need to print boarding passes in the office, they charge 50 cents for a sheet of paper!! We thought that was terribly overpriced. Take a few sheets. Next time, we will take a ream. We had a wonderful time in a place that just felt like home. Very nice and very comfy. Sandy (owner) is extremely friendly and very helpful. You will LOVE your experience here and we will be back in March!!!

Well Maintained and one of the nicest place we have stayed at!
We were very impressed with the Complex and the Condo! CLEAN and WELL MAINTAINED! The main room is very roomy! We had zero issues. The thing that we liked the most was that the unit was managed by the Condo complex itself, which was comforting to us.
The beach was wonderful. It was very nice to be able to cross the street and go directly to it via the beach side of Midnight Cove. The sand is so soft and gorgeous. We will definitely be back to the area.
Not much commercialism in regards to many restaurants. There are some towards Siesta Beach itself, but not a lot. Bring your own trahs bags, which it is stated in the lease agreement.
Sandy, thank you for everything. The owner made herself available before our stay was everything was presented as it was. Many Many thanks!

Our first family trip to Siesta Key. Family of 4 with kids 14 and 10. We had our best vacation ever. The beach is stunning. Our room was as we expected from pictures. All appliances updated. Plenty of space with well stocked kitchen. I slept better here then in my own bed. Very comfortable. Property was well maintained and clean. I would recommend to friends or family for place to stay.
We visited family in the area and two trips to Orlando. We do plan to return.

Perfect home away from home
The place was awesome! It was super clean, comfy, modern, and a 5 min walk to the beach as well as a grocery store, shops, and a bike/boat rental. This was our first stay in a vacation home rather than a hotel, and we've heard about other vacation condos not coming with necessities such as trash bags and such, but this isn't one of those places! I am pretty sure Sandy provided everything except for our food! The kitchen is a little small but very equipped and functional, oh and gorgeous! All stainless Kitchenaid appliances and every utensil known to man. I even had to check the dishwasher twice to make sure it was running because it was so quiet. Propane grills (Weber and Charbroil) are right outside the door so you can cook and watch for sea creatures in the inlet. The sliding glass doors that opened to the screened in lanai were really nice. We didnt open them too often due go the heat, but the view was cool and they let in so much light. It rained daily but only enough to cool it off, so we did appreciate having the cable tv and the comfy couches. We even played tennis for the first time together, which was really fun!
The private access to the beach was awesome. You do have to cross the road but there is even a crosswalk that immediately stops traffic, which no one seems to mind. The attendant greeted us and gave us chairs and set up our umbrellas. We rode bikes up and down the beach and I am pretty sure the area for Midnight Cove was the cleanest and most desirable. We seen dolphins far out, but the last two days we were there, there were 8-10 manta rays swimming all around us (literally less than a foot away). At first everyone was a little uneasy thinking they were stingrays and possibly dangerous, but they weren't, so it was really cool. Everyone, and I mean everyone, was super nice. We are from Ohio (and so are a out 50% of the people that vacation in Siesta Key) and all we could talk about was how unbelievably nice everyone was. People seem genuinely happy and not just the ones on vacation. We are really considering moving down there since we left.
In addition to everything else, Sandy was awesome! She answered all my questions before and after booking very quickly. I believe she was genuinely happy to share her place with us and not just to get it rented. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Thanks again for opening your (vacation) home to us for our anniversary. It was perfect and we really did feel at home in paradise :)

Awesome vacation getaway!
This condo is fabulous! It's very clean and nicely decorated, with lots of extras. The kitchen is great with all Kitchenaid appliances, and new front loader washer and dryer for use as well. There is even a really nice blow dryer that has attachments in the bathroom for the ladies. It is just a short walk to the gorgeous beach where a nice young man helps you with your chairs & umbrella set up when you want to relax a while and let life go by. There are lots of places close-by to eat, drink, and a Publix market for anything else you need a short drive away. We especially enjoyed Siesta Key village down aabout 2 miles, lots of good eateries and live music and outdoor seating in many places. We were so spoiled, it's quiet and peaceful there at the complex, too. The office folks were super-nice too. Sandy was great! She provided all that we needed to celebrate our 2 year wedding annivesary in style! We feel like Sandy is our friend, and she was so very helpful whenever we had questions or needed something. We had such a wonderful time, and would definitely come back to Siesta Key and stay here. Very positive experience, and I am so glad we found this place. Thank you again, Sandy ---- this vacation rocked!! We want a "do-over". :)

An amazing vacation!
Everything about this was great...the owner was very proactive, polite and accommodating throughout the planning process and the condo was exactly as described! It was clean, fresh, and just a few minutes to the beach. The staff at the condo complex were friendly as were those on the beach that set up the umbrellas and chairs. Siesta Key has great restaurants, shopping and scenery, I would absolutely recommend Sandy's Siesta for your next vacation!

First, what a great location! Close to everything. Condo was amazingly beautiful, the beach theme rocked! Comfortable beds, nice furniture and TV's. All brand new inside! And best part.....a top of the line washer and dryer in the unit, instead of walking up to the laundry mat. This place was well decorated and thought out! Next, take a walk across a small two lane road and there is a private beach for the condo owners and their guests only. Ever walked in powdered sugar? That's what the sand feels like...and not hot on the feet! There is a beach guy named Ian who greets you with a smile and brings out chairs and umbrellas for you!! He also has kayak's and other beach toys! Restaurants have great food and the people in this town are very nice. This made our honeymoon truly unforgettable. The sunsets on the beach are fabulous.....like a picture. We will definitely be back next year! If I could give this 10 stars.....I would!

The apartment was clean, well decorated and it has great appliances! We felt at home! The beach is gorgeous, once you arrive there is a nice gentlemen who brings you chairs and umbrellas! Everything we needed was supplied by the owner, there is even a beach cart which was a life saver, since we have three kids and carry a lot to the beach! I highly recommend this place!

This condo is beautifully decorated, and has all the features of being at home. The beach is a short walk across a road and through a couple gates, and once you're there, Ian the beach attendant will get you set up with beach chairs and an umbrella. The sand is amazingly soft like baby powder and the water is crystal clear and shallow. There's no undertow or big waves, so we didn't really have to fret constantly about our children's safety.
The Midnight Cove complex is very well maintained and has a great new fitness room and 2 great pools. We enjoyed fishing off of the dock in front of the condo. We met many families who have been renting condo's there yearly for upwards of 20 years.
One of the most important factors that made our trip so great was the incredible support and accessibility that the owner Sandy, afforded to us. She responded quickly to all of my texts, (and I texted often) and was always offering advice on places to go and sites to see. We are looking forward to our next visit and would highly recommend this condo!!

2015 family holiday
my family vacation started on oct 23rd 2015 and sadly finished 4th november, we have been staying in siesta key now for over 25 years and this was the first time at sandys siesta and def will not be the last, sandy right from the start made this very easy indeed and was a1 in her communication bearing in mind we are in the uk, it was the first time my children had been to florida and we spent the first ten days in orlando before moving on to sandys place.
we will be going back in 2017 and will not be doing the parks as my children much preferred siesta key and sandys condo, the condo is in fantastic condition throughout and kept very well indeed, if anyone wants some sort of advice about going to this condo it most def has our approval as we have stayed in many in siesta key and none are even in the same hemispere as sandys condo its just a shame it had to end.
just a little end note from my children loved it loved it loved it lollllllllllllll
