Area Information
Our Beach Condo is located on the Crescent Beach of Siesta Key on Midnight Pass Rd. Located approximately 55 miles south of Tampa on Florida's Gulf Coast, Siesta Key is an eight-mile-long barrier island connected to Sarasota by two bridges. While all the conveniences of modern life are easily accessible, Siesta Key is still remote enough to give one a feeling of old Florida. Bursting with lush foliage, mature trees and tropical flowering shrubs that line the winding routes to the village and the beaches. The beaches are refreshingly natural, with protected wild sea oats and mangroves providing a protective habitat for the scores of native island birds that share the island, as well as the dolphins, manatees and other aquatic wildlife living just offshore. Siesta Key's dazzling white sand was rated America's very best by beachgoers who echo what every Sarasota beach lover knows -- that Siesta Key's sugar-fine sand is clean, powder-soft to the touch, free of shell particles and cool on the feet. No day would be complete without taking in a spectacular sunset during an evening stroll on the Siesta's Beach. If you enjoy collecting Shells, be sure to visit nearby Turtle Beach at the south end of the island.

Siesta Key Beach has been ranked among the best.

The Travel Channel has rated Siesta Key Beach as one of Florida's top 10.

A recent article in Southern Living magazine called Siesta Key "the hidden jewel of Florida's West Coast."

In a USA Today readership poll more than 3,000 people across the country named Siesta Key as one of the top three U.S. beaches.

Siesta Key Beach was named by the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in 1987 "the whitest, finest beach sand in the world", a title that still stands today.

Conde Nast Traveler and National Geographic Traveler magazines have also ranked Siesta Key among America's very best beaches.

According to the Scientist Dr. Beach, who rates beach cleanliness, Siesta Beach is one of the top 10 beaches in the U.S.,

Siesta Beach is rated one of the best beaches for walking by National Geographic Traveler. They said, "White quartz sand perfect for castle building", and stay cool on hot days.

Siesta Beach is rated one of the nation's cleanest blue wave beaches
by the Clean Beaches Council.

It is a favorite among people from all over the world. The public beach facilities include picnic areas, restrooms, concession stands, playground, trails, and tennis and volleyball courts.

Siesta Key Florida is an island of culinary delights offering a variety of dining experiences including romantic candle-lit dinners, ocean-side casual fare, family style, and vibrant nightclubs. A shopper's paradise, over 150 stores are located in the two shopping districts at the northwest and south ends of the key. The quaint village provides a great opportunity for bicycling or roller-blading. With over fifty miles of canals and waterways, bays, and the Gulf of Mexico that offers some of the finest boating and fishing opportunities. Over 1,000 species of fish make for excellent year-round on and offshore adventures.

Worth returning

November 21, 2013

We were there a week before thanksgiving and the holiday rush The condo was ideal. We found the condo tastefully furnished, very clean and loaded with everything you could possibly need: plenty of towels for all, as well as beach towels. Location is ideal, bay or gulf at your door step. Close to village for shops and restaurants or a short drive downtown Sarasota or St. Armonds Circle. Shall definitely return.

Best on Siesta Key!!!

April 11, 2013

The Palm Bay Club is the perfect spot on Siesta Key. The tropical manicured landscaping, the quality facilities, and the helpful staff added enjoyment to our trip. Also, the convenient location, between the main bridge and the village, allowed full access to all other fun restaurants, shops, and sights. Last, the fabulous sandy beach property with property chairs allowed for very comfortable beach days.

Beautiful Location

February 8, 2012

Loved the condo - but it was one bath, one bedroom - not two/two. It was penthouse - not first floor. Incredible decorating - completely renovated with very high end finishes. Beautful view - spotless building - incredible beach. Would be a 5 star except the one bed/one bath was awkward - especially since only bath was literally right in bedroom.

Owner's reply:

This person did not stay in my unit at the Palm Bay Club. It appears they may have stayed in a one bedroom penthouse unit in the Tower on the Gulf side. Our unit is on the Bay Side, is on the first floor and does have 2 bedrooms and 2 baths.

Clean, Quality Furnishings, Beautiful Beach, Nice Pools, And Other Amenities. The Only Downside Was Issue With Limited Parking And On This Weekend (4th Of July) It Was Very Crowed Where The Beach Chairs Were Actually All Gone.

Siesta Key Christmas Vacation

December 25, 2010

Spending the week before Christmas at the Palm Bay Club at Siesta Key, Florida was perfect for spending quality family time leading into the Holidays. Palm Bay Club was a beautiful resort. We enjoyed walking down the resort driveway, lined with tall palm trees to the gulf beach. The beach and gulf were so beautiful. We rented bikes for our family of four and spent three or four hours a day riding up and down the beach, all around the island, and into the village where we stopped to shop and eat. Then we would ride bikes back to the resort on the beach. The weather was sunny and around 70 degrees during our stay. The sunsets on the gulf were beautiful. We also enjoyed the heated pools, jacuzzi, and game room while there. The bay side was a beautiful part of the resort as well. The view was nice with many pelicans and other birds to see. I would like to stay at the Palm Bay Club again when we visit Siesta Key.

Excellent Accommodations

June 9, 2010

We stayed in room 149 of the Palm Bay Club, and it was a very nice vacation property. The Condo was extremely clean and comfortable, all of the appliances were like new -so were the towels and sheets! the only downside to the stay is that we only had a partial view of the water and I thought we would be a little closer to the beach, but we still enjoyed the white sand and crystal clear water everyday! We would happily recommend this Condo to any of our friends or family. Thanks for helping us make it memorable weekend!

Nice place

May 4, 2010

We were on bay side - but only a 3-4 minute walk from fantastic beach; Club is nicely appointed; condo very clean and bright; 1 mile or so walk from Siesta Village, with a few decent restaurants, but music nightly; yoga on the beach classes close by; all in all, a very nice stay!
