Description of the Skaneateles vacation cabin rental
Our five generation family camp on spring fed Skaneateles Lake, is a 50's time warp of relaxed outdoor/ indoor living in the lush woodlands of Upstate NY. Quiet except for the lapping of the water on the beach, it has plenty of space with three deck levels, bon-fire pit, dock, raft and row boat for small to large gatherings of an extended family or friends to holiday in the fresh outdoors. Inside the camp are sweeping views of the lake and distant farmlands from a wall of windows downstairs and three of the five bedrooms upstairs. A well equipped kitchen, family sized dining and living area - complete with rocking chairs, 2 bathrooms (one with 6' tub & lake view), washer & dryer, classic wood stove for cool nights, lots of board games, dart board, books, TV, VCR & DVD players and ”free wireless” connectivity should answer all your needs. Linens optionally are provided; just bring food, family or friends for a classic relaxed holiday off the busy path. Visit our web page for availability 2016 and more images. Great place for a family reunion

The location is wonderful, the two houses makes it easy for two generations to have their own space. There is plenty of outdoor areas for all to have their own activities, the upper deck, lower deck and the pier. Water activities include kayaking, fishing, and swimming. There are local places to eat, very reasonably priced. We would return every year!!
