“Superb experience!”

Grandparents, parents and grandchild age 7.5 all greatly enjoyed a week's stay at this well-maintained, spacious property. It was, truly, a home-away-from-home. The pool, heated to 85-90 degrees, was particularly enjoyable. The putting green was fun even though no one knew any golf.

Owner's reply: Thank you for the feed back Dr. Fessel. We are truly happy that you enjoyed your stay. Your comments are very much appreciated. Elizabeth and Al

“Above & Beyond!”

Truly an amazing home to rent for a few days. Unless we were sleeping, we spent all our time outdoors on this beautiful, tranquil, and enjoyable property.

“Christmas Memories”

Reviewed 30 Dec 2010

Our immediate family gathered for Christmas 12/23 - 12/28/2010 . We had a wonderful time in Sonoma & would love to visit again. Weather was cool & rainy for most part so did not get to enjoy much outside. House was lovely & comfortable. We did miss having a TV in great room & a hot tub would have been big bonus with the weather conditions. The fireplace was great. Location convenient & town had all we needed. For local flavor we loved the Jack London Bar 4 miles down the road. Wineries we visited were fun & memorable.

“A comfortable retreat”

Reviewed 29 Jun 2010

This is a very well-equipped and maintained home, private and spacious inside and out. All rooms open to outside activities in the back of the house, all overlooking a large patio, a lovely flower garden that contains a gurgling water pond. Further down is a well-kept pool with comfortable furniture. A putting green next to it provides a diversion and a great outdoor activity for the entire family. Glen Ellen is a short, lovely drive to the North while Sonoma is a few minutes by car he other way. We found it ideal for a family get-together of three generations. A week was not enough.

“A home away from home!”

What a joy to arrive at a house that was so welcoming and cozy. Stocked with condiments, spices and everything we needed to have a wonderful home cooked meal - made things super easy..and enjoyed the board games, dvd's and music selection as well. Most confortable bed ever - and was probably one of the best nights of sleep I have had in a long time.... Nothing was lacking - simply a perfect house that provided a wonderful home away from home during our girls wine weekend getaway....would recommend it to anyone and can't wait to go back for another visit!
