This place deserves ZERO stars!

February 14, 2011

The photo being used now to advertise Unit B in L'Etoile is NOT the same one they used when we rented it. The photo they used then showed a totally different space that looked very bright and airy and decently furnished. A rental agent told us on the phone that it was newly renovated and had many amenities. We were mislead!!!What we found when we got there was an absolute dump! It was dark, dreary, dingy and in TOTAL disrepair. We found a stove was very old and didn't work, a dishwasher with filthy water collected on the bottom, an old, broken down black couch, the silver couch you see in the new picture has a back that slants backwards so that you have to lean way back when you sit on it, the two chairs that seem to have come from a patio set, a broken vanity in the bathroom, a comforter on the bed that was old and dirty looking,no blankets, broken blinds, outlets didn't work, etc., etc.. It was a WRECK and NOT "newly renovated" as promised! The place as it's shown in this new picture is the actual Unit B. If it looks better now than what I just described, it's because of the changes and repairs we insisted on. Our stay was a stressful nightmare. Other accomodations weren't available. The only saving grace were two employees of this firm, Karen and Arnold, who worked very hard to make the unit livable.Don't be fooled by the picture. The place has been neglected for a long time and there's alot wrong with it. Although it may look bright in the photo, it isn't.
