This is a very nice cozy home to rent while vacationing in Cape Cod area. Not too far from beaches and shopping! I would reccomend this home to rent while visiting this area!!!:)))

“Comfortable, affordable and cozy”

Reviewed 31 Jul 2016

We stayed 10 days in this home. It is centrally located near rt 28, shopping, restaurants. Not on the beach but close to many. Hosts are fantastic to work with and very accomodating. While in this house we traveled to Provinctown, Eastham, Chatham to the seal watch, we took a lobster roll cruise which was 8 mins away and a hige highlight for the family. We also visited the new Pirates Museum which is about 10 mins away and kids as well as adults loved it. We would work with this host and rent from them again for sure.

Owner's reply: Thanks so much Jill. It was our pleasure to have you and your family. Thanks for the tips. We will check out your suggestions. Looking forward to having you as our guests again. Take Care. Donna

“Great Central Location”

Reviewed 12 Sep 2015

Very clean, well stocked home in a quiet neighborhood centrally located in So Dennis. Large kitchen; 2 bedrooms and living room equipped with air conditioners. All rooms have overhead fans which provided us with plenty of air circulation and cooling. Great outdoor shower; comfortable deck with table and chairs; nice Weber gas grill; washer and dryer in basement. Cape Cod bike path at end of street - bikes available at the house. To use the kayak you need a way to transport it. Dennis/Brewster beaches 15 min drive. We had a picnic dinner at sunset at Cold Storage Beach on the bay which was beautiful(and we arrived after 400pm so we didn't need a beach pass!) Our party was 4 adults and 3 children under 6 - We all agree we would stay at this home again!

“Charming Vacation: Relaxing, Fun & Just Perfect!”

Reviewed 6 Aug 2015

Our stay at Donna's home was reminiscent of the very best memories we have of our childhood summers. We brought our two girls, ages 13 and 5 and had an amazing time sharing the Cape with them. Exploring Tidal pools filled with hermit crabs, building sand castles, flying kites, backyard bbqs, playing games on the deck, enjoying a nice hot outdoor shower after a sandy day, riding bikes on a safe trail that goes forever, making smores...we were so happy to do these simple activities and so much more. Centrally located, it was an easy drive to Provincetown for whale watching (check groupon for a deal) We saw 10-13 huge whales, up close and some even under the boat! We went to Wellfleet for our first drive in movie, Orleans for a great book store called Main Street Books, and breakfast by the water at the Sesuit Harbor Cafe. Delicious Clam Chowder, jumping on trampolines, shopping the quaint shops, scrumptious ice cream at Sundae School, the list can go on and on. Going back to Donna's house after all this activity was relaxing and restful. Plenty of room to spread out, one of us was reading on the deck, one was going online at the kitchen table on our computer, one was watching television in the living room and one was texting in her bedroom! Everything we needed was at hands reach, napkins, kitchenware, magazines, board games, beach chairs, kayaks, bikes, great pillows, laundry detergent, sheets, towels, beach toys...this house is stacked so you don't need to pack all of that for your vacation. Comfortable beds with the Cape Breeze or window air conditioners if needed, they've really thought of everything. Clean, comfortable, homey, great neighborhood, nice neighbors, it's simply the best. We loved it and can't thank Donna and her family enough for being so welcoming and available at a moment's notice should we need anything. One of our best vacations yet!

Owner's reply: Thanks so much Colleen!!! You guys really made the most of your week. We are glad you enjoyed yourselves and we appreciate your feedback. Sounds like the girls really had some great experiences and made wonderful memories. Please visit us again. Donna

“"Like Being at Home"”

Reviewed 4 Aug 2015

The listing is exactly as advertised...very pleasant experience for my 3 sisters and I. Quiet, frriendly neighborhood allows for relaxing vacation. Large kitchen(well equipped), deck, bikes and nearby trail were all a huge plus! (we did not use grill..but nice addition as well) House was very clean and has enough space for folks to grab a moment of "alone time" if needed! We are "seasoned" Cape Cod people but did not know Dennis at all...LOVED it and the people..We felt more like locals than visitors .House is centrally located to beaches and stores -Ring Market - is a"MUST" if you like gourmet food and wine! Donna was a delight to work with and responded to all emails/calls/texts in a timely manner.. We will be repeat customers!

Owner's reply: Hi Joyce - We appreciate your kind words and feedback. We are glad you and your sisters enjoyed Dennis as much as we do. Thanks for being terrific guests! Donna

“Very Nice Home in an Excellent Location”

Reviewed 29 Jun 2015

The rooms in this home are very spacious. Large eat-in kitchen, comfortable living room, bedrooms have very comfortable beds! No tripping over anyone here and the location is excellent! We travelled to Providence Town (about 30 minutes), Woods Hole to catch the ferry (Steamship Authority) to Martha's Vineyard (only about 45 minute drive), travelled to Hyannis to board the ferry to Nantucket (only about a 12 minute ride--Steamship Authority as well), We went to North Turo to the Highland Light House and museum (if you tour both, the museum will give you a coupon for $1 off the entrance fee to the lighthouse). The working lighthouse (66ft with guided tours) is next to the golf course and picutres from the top are beautiful! There is also the Turo Winery who is now making their own rum! Wish we had time to stop by because it was highly recommended by the locals. Many beaches within a few minutes drive. We went to Paines Creak beach and saw an oyster farm. When the tide is low, you can walk out for about a miile. The day we were there we were able to talk with the farmers. Everyone is very pleasant and informative. All in all I would rate this one of our best vacations!

Owner's reply: Wow Tammy! You ladies really fit in a lot of fun activities. Sounds like you made the most of your visit. I have not been to some of those places in quite some time and have yet to visit the Truro Winery. Nice idea travel to the Vineyard from Woods Hole - much cheaper since it is so close. Hope you plan on coming back soon. Thanks for all the great tips!

“Wonderful Summer House!”

Reviewed 22 Aug 2014

Donna is a nice and reliable host. You can easily reach her by email and phone. This is a super well-equipped summer house, especially the kitchen. It has nice tea cups, coffee cups and plate, and even chopsticks (good for an Asian family like us). It also provides the clean pillow cases and bed cover and extra pillows and blanket. We had great family time there. We will love to go back!

“Amazing place for the family!!”

Reviewed 8 Jan 2014

I rented this house for a week in august and it was awesome! My girlfriend invited her cousins, and there was plenty of room for all us. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could think of using. The back deck was the perfect place to sit outside and relax. there is an outside shower which saved a lot of time for people to wash up before going inside and the bikes were great for all of us to take a ride and explore the local trails. The location is ideal for a family who doesnt mind driving a few minutes to the local shops and the bay beaches. I only wish i owned a truck so we couldve taken the kayaks out! :( Overall everyone loved the house, it was the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation!

Owner's reply: Glad you had fun Greg!! Hope to see you again!!

“South Dennis rental”

We had a wonderful time staying at this immaculately clean home. It was smack dab in the middle of the Cape, which made it so convenient to travel anywhere in a relatively short amount of time. We enjoyed the ammenities, washer/dryer, BBQ grill, deck, and wi-fi. Working with the owner was so easy. We have already recommended it to friends.

Owner's reply: Thanks so much Lisa. We were happy to have you visit and are glad you enjoyed your time at the Cape.
