“Family reunion”

Reviewed 3 Aug 2015

This is the third year that we have stayed at this property. Our family comes from 3 states and 3 continents to stay here and the house accommodated all 10 of us comfortably. The owner is easy to work with. When the electronic lock quit working on the front door, he had someone to fix it within an hour. Kitchen is well equipped and grill on deck is great for picnics in the front yard. This house is at the end of the road and very private.

“Family gathering”

Reviewed 29 Jul 2013

Three generations of our family, ten people, met for two weeks at this home. The large rooms accommodated us very well. The supply of kitchen utensils, bedding, towels, even paper products was very adequate. When temps reached the mid-nineties the air conditioners were very welcome. We used the outside grill several times and the spacious yard was great for kids play. Beach was wonderful and lots to do in the Portland area. Our only complaint was that a neighbor's van was parked most days at the dead end by the driveway making turning into the street or backing into the driveway impossible. We would highly recommend this home to anyone interested in a vacation near the beach.

“Great rental!!!!”

Reviewed 15 Jul 2011

The photos do not give it justice. The home is very clean and spacious. We loved having the pool table. Master bedroom and bath was a great place for all of the ladies to get ready for a wedding. Views are awesome. Two minute walk to Willard Beach. Beautiful lawn with plenty of room for large family gatherings.

“Spacious but Drab, a Beautiful Spot!”

Reviewed 25 Aug 2010

First the good, even great, news! The house is a very short walk to a lovely beach. It is beautifully situated in a very private cul du sac. The house itself a spacious and more or less comfortable, three good-sized bedrooms. But:depessing decor more or less throughout;industrial carpeting everywhere, drab furniture (the dining room tables a hoot!)& a second bathroom on the first floor, far from the rooms it's supposed to serve, make it a bit less than ecstatic experience & make one carp a bit at the 1,700+ price tag. Still, I actually would go there again, amazingly; for despite the "railroad-flat" layout, it's capacious and wonderfully situated! Also, the renting agent is very sweet, efficient, and there when needed.Important!
