Lovely spot for family visit!

August 4, 2010

We thoroughly enjoyed the location of the cottage. The Outer Battery area of St.John's is steeped in history, gorgeous scenery and access to all levels of walk and hiking activity. The people are friendly and helpful to all. The upper cottage fulfilled our needs very nicely. The lower floor bedroom was too separate from the rest of the cottage for us, as we had looked forward to waking up with our grandchildren.

Owner's reply:

Thanks!-- Except you have the two houses confused. Hipditch does not have a lower level- but our other rental property Hares Ears in the Outer Battery does, and that is where you stayed. Ken

Owner Supplied Testimonials

Hipditch House: The Best Seat in the Harbour. The jaw dropping view, the quiet serenity, the glorious deck, and the beautiful winding paths all add up to a stay that has to be experienced to believe.   Here is the resting place for the weary jet lagged modern soul.  A trip that feeds head and heart.
