“Wonderful place...we loved it”
My husband and I really enjoyed staying at the Fritz Carlton. The view from the porch was beautiful~~the birds, the full moon, tides going in and out and an incredible thunderstorm one evening. We also loved being able to go to all the parks that were close by. Thank you so much for providing information and all the things that we needed. Loved it and hope to be back.
“We may return”
A missing key on arrival was the only problem. A phone call to the owner and he immediately directed us to another key. Otherwise we enjoyed the home and viewing the abundant birdlife from the deck.
My husband and I decided to go to,Alligator Point on a whim. We usually go to St. George Island on the Gulf. We loved the peace and quiet and the location right on the bay. We picked a great week to come.
Was a very peaceful and relaxing stay...loved that their was Internet for kids and a beautiful view in the backyard for me!
Owner's reply: Glad to hear you were happy with your vacation, I hope you caught lots of fish!
“Just what we needed”
We were looking to be within reach of beach but with no crowds and no jet skis. This is a great place for that. The water off the back yard is nicer than the pictures show; wish we had had a canoe, kayak, or sailboat with us to explore the bay and get closer to the birds. It was quiet all the time; a rush of traffic is 3 cars in 10 minutes. The house is clean and well stocked with dishes and linens. One shower is outdoors, which adds to the charm in my opinion. Only complaint is not about the house; we had expected to bicycle to beaches at Bald Point State Park. Turns out that the park has beautiful shelters, restrooms, and paths leading to pitiful little beaches, choked with seaweed. There were even crab traps set up all thru the "swimming" area. Skip the park and visit the town beaches of Alligator Point, just a short drive away, 3 or 4 miles, facing South on the gulf. In early August we seldom saw more than 8 other people on the beach at a time, with nice sand and enough surf to play in. There are no commercial services, so get your gas and groceries before you cross the long bridge coming south.
Owner's reply: So glad you guys had a great time, hope you can make it back soon.
“Relaxation, Comfort and Convenience!”
There is no better place to relax. My husband and I loved this house. He caught a redfish in the backyard straightaway, and we cooked it on the patio grill. Enjoyed the screened porch and the big screen TV. The furniture was comfy, and the kitchen was really nice and had lots of cooking utensils. The house was clean. We liked the location because we were close to the beaches, state parks, and good places to eat! We fished and kayaked mostly. Loved walking the beach at Alligator Point. Didn't want to leave. We're going back ASAP.
“Best deal on Alligator Point”
This little house is great ... and it's dog friendly which is extremely important to us. Adam is wonderful and very accommodating. This was our second stay here and it's certainly not our last. Thanks so much for a great vacation!.
Owner's reply: Thanks for the kind word Karen! We love having you and Glenn back each year.
We would define toy rent the home again. The house was clean and everything in place. It was a great house to stay for us to have a quick get away for weekend! The weather was awesome too! Great communication with the owner as well. Definetly recommended by us. :) thank you!
Owner Supplied Testimonials
The Fritz Carlton was exactly what I hoped for. It is secluded, quiet, scenic and had everything we needed. The master bedroom and back porch have a gorgeous view of the bay. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the house is clean and well-maintained. We loved the Alligator Point beaches and explored Bald Point State Park, too. The owner made us feel welcome and answered our questions quickly. I would absolutely return to the Fritz next time I want a quiet, relaxed vacation on the gulf.

The layout of the house was great. Plenty of room and everything was in good condition. The house was spotless and I would recommend without hesitation. A huge plus is the state park down the road for nice walks and more beach exploring. Wakulla Springs is 30 min away and the $5 boat tour is worth every penny. The kids got to see alligators and manatees from the boat. We had a great time!

Most Relaxing Florida Vacation EVER
My husband and I weren't sure what to expect when we arrived, never having stayed in this area of the Gulf before. The property description was very accurate, and the owner was on site when we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed the views from the property, the peace and quiet, and the amenities provided. When we had an issue with something, a quick phone call to the owner was all that was needed to get resolution. He was quite prompt and attentive to our needs and VERY EASY to work with. The beaches are close by, Bald Point State Park right across the street. We saw a lot of wildlife and really were amazed at the view we woke to each morning. This place is PERFECT for kayaking or canoeing, hiking and taking in NATURAL FLORIDA and not the tourist crap you see elsewhere along the Gulf. Our favorite spots were the public beach at Alligator Point, Tropical Trader's Restaurant (which is about 5-6 miles away) and the mini mall a short distance away for all our beach needs. If you are expecting convenience, this place may not be for you. It is definitely NOT convenient. However, if you are like us and seeking peace and tranquility, unspoiled beaches with no crowds, if you want to be able to take your dogs and be WELCOMED just about anywhere, this place is for you. We loved rising each morning and having our coffee on the screened porch. We would advise bringing plenty of food and supplies and just forget about eating out more than a couple of times. Tropical Traders, on Highway 98 across the bay, was the BOMB, though. Fantastic food and friendly people. There were a few drawbacks...no closets for hanging clothes, no inside doormats so sand and dirt was easily tracked inside, and the distance to drive to the store or a restaurant, central A/C seemed to struggle at night (there is another unit that we forgot about until the last day)...but the positives far outweigh these minor things, especially when the owner is so accommodating. We are already trying to plan a trip back! Thank you, Adam!

Great house, wonderful sunset view, had a wonderful vacation
Checked in Fritz Carlton and was so happy to be there. The house was super clean, great kitchen, bedroom facing the beautiful bay. We saw so many different kinds of birds and animals, it was truly a nature lovers paradise. Satellite TV was great, we had so many channels to choose from. Went to near by beaches which were clean, secluded, and private, a short drive of three minutes. I would recommend The Fritz Carlton to anyone who wants a private, quiet, and secluded setting. We will be back.

Perfect 4th of July
Our family of four enjoyed this property very much. The king sized bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and the room led out to a beautiful screened porch. We saw white squirrels running on the fences and egrets fishing in the bay along with lots of mullet jumping from time Our son caught a huge redfish in the bay right off the porch and we cooked it for dinner. There are lots of blue crab in the canal and were easy to catch with a trap we got from Crums mini mall. Our kids slept in the guest bedroom and had their own bath so they wouldn't bug us in the morning. The kitchen was beautiful and very easy to cook in. The air conditioner seemed to run all the time but it did keep us cool. I am looking forward to coming back next year.
