“Great winter get away!”

Reviewed 25 Feb 2017

We had a delightful time staying at Dianna's cabin in Payson. The cabin/home is much larger in the living area, dinning and kitchen than what appears in the pictures. She had everything we needed and was available for questions at any time. We have two children and never left the property. We drove up from Phoenix in the afternoon, explored on the property and that night it turned into a winter wonderland. Because the property is larger, we played in the snow all the next day. We will plan a longer trip in the future!

“Great Spot”

Reviewed 29 Mar 2016

This was a great place to stay. The cabin was beautiful and in a gorgeous area. The people were very very nice. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that the reservation process isn't as smooth as it could be and you can't pay by credit card or online, check or money order only. We will definitely be going back.

Owner's reply: Jennifer, Thank you for taking the time to post a review and for sharing your experiences. I appreciate the kind words about the cabin, the area and the neighbors! Please know that I am looking into ways to streamline the reservation and payment processes to make it easier for guests. I'll look forward to hearing from you when you are able to visit again.

“Great Getaway!!!”

Reviewed 20 Jan 2016

This was our second stay at this cabin and we cannot wait until we can go back again! The first stay was with some friends over the 4th of July weekend and the weather could not have been better. What a remarkable difference the cool pines were from the sweltering heat of the Valley. It was even a few degrees cooler at the cabin than it was in the city of Payson. This time around we were able to enjoy the beautiful snow with the same friends. Our 10 year old son had a blast sledding down a hill right down the road from the cabin, and loved playing in the snow in the huge fenced yard. Although the cabin itself is very roomy, clean, and very well appointed, including wi-fi and satellite, the front porch is the first thing you notice and the thing I loved the most. The porch is very inviting, comfortable, and provides breathtaking views in both the summer and the winter. The wood stove and gas fireplace were amazing and provided toasty warmth throughout the cabin on those cold nights. We will definitely be back, and would love to stay for a week sometime this summer.

Owner's reply: Many thanks for sharing your experiences with me and potential guests. Your detailed comments took time to prepare and post ... thank you for devoting the time and making the effort. I look forward to hosting you and your family again. Warm regards, Dianna Kimling - Host

“Quiet and relaxing”

Reviewed 11 Sep 2015

Clean and comfortable, surrounded by nature. Enjoyed sitting on the large front porch both to have coffee in the mornings and libation and music in the evenings. Quiet and peaceful, it was great to get away from the hustle and bustle of Phoenix as well as the heat. At the same time, nice to have lots of television programs to choose from.

Owner's reply: Thank you for the kind words. It's a great place and I'm happy to hear you enjoyed your stay.

“Adorable cabin in the woods!”

Reviewed 11 Sep 2015

What a wonderful experience! I stayed in this cabin wit my mom and 2 of my kids, ages 12 and 8. We arrived in the late afternoon and were thrilled with what we saw. A log sided cabin with a fenced yard for our dog. Immediately, the kids and pup were running around the spacious yard while my mom and I planted ourselves on the amazing porch. The cabin was well appointed, with plenty of room for everyone. With Internet and satellite TV, there was entertainment available inside the cabin as well. The owner was easily accessible and very accommodating. Will definitely be back!

Owner's reply: So pleased you enjoyed your stay. Come back soon!

“Absolutely Perfect!”

Reviewed 5 Jul 2015

We stayed here over the July 4th Holiday and were extremely happy with the accommodations. It's tucked back in a quiet subdivision off the beaten path. The porch was amazing- loved sitting out there listening to the rain hitting the tin roof. The cabin itself was roomy, extraordinarily clean, and fully stocked with dishes, pans etc. we will definitely be coming back! : )

Owner's reply: Thank you Dan and Kelli for your kind comments. It's a pleasure to know you enjoyed your stay and want to return. I'll look forward to hearing from you again to book your next visit.
