**Discounts offered for weekly stays** This property at The Rockies Condos has a lot to like. It has a great location and many amenities to enjoy. The condo has good quality, is thoroughly and comfortably equipped and furnished. Unlike most other 1-Bedroom condos in Steamboat Springs, this property has a nice large King bed in the bedroom. It also has a sleeping capacity of up to 5 people. Here you'll enjoy nice views and be within walking distance of everything the ski resort base area has to offer. If you don't feel like walking, don't worry. During most of the ski season, this development is served by both a private on call shuttle service as well as the free city bus, both of which pick up and drop off right outside! Overall, this property combines a lot of nice features with affordable pricing, giving you a great value for your Steamboat Springs vacation. Please read on for more details on the development, the location, and the condo itself.

Before we go over how great the development and the location are, a little more about the condo. You have to go down a flight of stairs from the parking area to enter the unit, but once you're inside, everything is on one level.. Just outside the front door, you'll see that there is a private ski locker right outside, an ideal place for storage if you're bringing your own skis or boards. When you walk inside, you'll find a nice large open concept space. The living room and dining room are one big room featuring hardwood floors. The living room area has two very comfy futons, one a Queen size and the other a Twin, centered around an entertainment center and fireplace. There is a large HDTV with Netflix and Pandora connected and available at the switch of an input. Also, if you bring along an HDMI cable you can connect your device for additional media options. Also off the living room is a nicely sized balcony. The dining room has a nice large table that seats 6 comfortably for dining, cards, or games. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'd expect in the way of pots, pans, dishes and glasses, silverware and utensils. You might even find some coffee, condiments, or spices and oils, though the housekeepers do clear out old stuff from time to time. The kitchen has a bar with seating for 4 and connects to the main living and dining areas so you can enjoy the company you keep. The bedroom is a good size, big enough for a nice King bed, nightstand, dresser, and a chair. This room also has double closets and a wall mounted HDTV that you can watch from bed. The bathroom is off the main area, but adjacent to the bedroom so it is convenient for those in the bedroom or if you have people sleeping in the living room. The bedroom, living room, and balcony all face west, so you might get some nice sunsets! Okay lets talk about the development, the amenities and the location.

The Rockies is known for being nicely located but fairly priced. As we creep closer to the 2020s, the development has added to its list of well maintained on site amenities and services. There has always been a nice large heated pool that is open in both winter and summer seasons. The pool area also has two very large commercial hot tubs, and restrooms that make changing clothes very convenient. This area has nice outdoor furniture for sunbathing, tables and umbrellas, and in summer, flower pots to complement the views of evergreens and mountains. There is also a clubhouse, or amenity center. This amenity building includes a ping pong table, a lounge area with TV, wireless internet, vending, and coin operated laundry center. Best of all, the amenity center is right next to this condo building, very convenient. Summer guests might also enjoy the sand volleyball court, and if you don't like volleyball, your kids might still enjoy this area!

This property doesn't just have a nice amenities, though. It has a great location and helpful services too. The city bus purple line stops right outside the building in winter season. Though hours and schedules are subject to changes by the city, it typically comes by every 20 minutes from early morning to evening. In the evening, again during ski season only, this development provides you with a private on call shuttle service. This service is more like a taxi than a bus, taking you throughout town, wherever you need to go, with few or no stops in between. This service is available in evenings only, but if you're headed out to eat, or back from the grocery store, the door to door service is very nice to have. So why are these shuttles available in winter only? Because from this development, in nice weather, walking throughout the base area is actually pretty easy, pretty pleasant, and there's plenty worth walking to! The Rockies is located very close to the entire base area, and this building is the closest one in the development to everything. You'll be just across the street and slightly below the Steamboat
