Romantic cabin on the Skykomish River with hot tub
|Per night||$155 - $245|
Maggies Cabin was built in 1934 and only feet away front the Skykomish river. The large covered porch is great for dinning and relaxing. Carpeted deck feels great on bare feet and makes it easy to enjoy the hot tub. Many wild life have been spotted from this spot. Eagles frequent in the winter and ducks and geese in the spring. I have even seen deer across the river.
Inside relax on leather couches while enjoying a fire or to cuddle up on while watching a movie on the new 40inch flat screen TV.
The kitchen is fully stocked with also a gas BBQ outside. We even supply coffee and hot coco with a single cup Keuerig.
Both bedrooms have new Sealy plush beds with down comforters and lots of pillows.
The calendar is for Maggies Cabin.
Maggie's Love Shack was built in the late 60's and we completely remodeled this place from head to toe. With not being on the river we more than made up for it. To start with we put dimmers on all lights inside. Outside has white lights around the back deck to enjoy the yard and hot tub. We have a fire pit on the side yard. The kitchen has custom cabinets with granite counter tops and also has a Keuerig maker. The open floor plan lets you enjoy the fireplace inside while in the kitchen or on the couch. Both beds here are plush and have lots of pillows too.

In the summer activities include: hiking; fishing; horseback riding; rafting or just relaxing.
The winter is known for skiing at Stevens pass or the Nortic center for cross country skiing and snow shoeing. We are 23 miles west of Stevens Pass and offer discount lift tickets. Inquire.
Leavenworth is just an hour away over the mountian and a wonderful drive. It is a charming town done in a German theme. It has many stores and fun shops. In October they have a something every weekend to bring in the fall.

Reviews for this vacation cabin rental in Stevens Pass, Washington

Gorgeous view!! It's exactly how the picture shows. The private hot tub makes this place that much more special and relaxing. The cabin could be a little cramped with 2 couples but a family of 3-4 would be fine. It was just my husband and I so it was perfect. We spent most of our time on the back porch and hiking in the mountains (Dorothy Lake Trail was beautiful). Definitely make a trip to Leavenworth, cute little German town with lots of unique stores.
WiFi and HotTub didn't work
March 27, 2015
WiFi is not "High speed" or even existant for that matter. We all kept getting bumped off of it the whole trip so it wasn't even useable, The property manager also informed us it's "community wifi" so therefore, you get little to no connection. The HotTub broke after one use and after waiting an ENTIRE DAY out of our trip, Charlie, the property manager came to look at it and accused us of not treating it kindly when we had done nothing wrong. It just stopped heating. He fixed it and we got to use it twice out of a 4 day trip. A waste of $700 if you ask me.

Our stay at Maggie's Cabin was phenomenal! It was everything we expected and more! The cabin was cute, tidy and had all that we needed to cool, sleep, play and relax. We are DEFINATELY going to rent it again! Thank you for everything! Diane and Darren

We stayed the weekend in the Love Shack. It was very nice place had all you needed except food and drinks. We enjoyed the hot tub, nice walk around deck, also loved the trees! Wish we could have stayed longer! Great little get away!!

Very peaceful and what a way to spend a romantic weekend with your husband. Great hikes nearby, great little eateries, gorgeous sounds of the river and views of the mountains. This cabin has everything you need to enjoy a home away from home. Didn't use the fireplace but what a cornerstone of the room that gives you that cabin feel. Nicely appointed furniture and very nice deck furniture and hot tub. We will return!!
Nice cabin in the woods
July 27, 2014
The cabin was cute and cozy as described and the owners keep it clean. I went with the understanding that the cabin was right on the river and was a bit disappointed to find that this wasn't the case. I would have wanted the owner to be sure to mention this prior to booking. The hot tub was great and all appliances were fully functional. The grill was also nice to have! The Keurig machine with provided coffee options was a nice addition and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The rooms were very small but this wasn't a problem since it was just me and my husband. The beds were generally comfortable to sleep in. A few areas for improvement: - The shower is way too small, not sure if some expansion could be possible, but it can barely fit one person - The water coming out of the bathroom faucet didn't smell very good - The couch in the main sitting area was not very comfortable and it didn't feel very clean - The lighting could be improved, the dimming lights have some buzzing issue particularly in the living area and the cabin stays very dark even during the summer in full light. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would probably come back though would probably like to stay in the river-side cabin this time.
We could live here!

Very nice and well equipped. So comfortable. Little hard to find..Google maps is confusing.
Beautiful Views, stove; unprofessional management
November 15, 2012
Lovely little cabin -- close to Seattle but still up in the mountains. Pros: The view of the river and mountains from the back porch/hot tub is fabulous and the big wood stove in the middle of the cabin is really, undeniably perfect for cuddling up on cold evenings. The cabin itself is furnished nicely, kitchen is well-stocked with cooking tools, bedding is lovely and beds were comfortable. Cons: This cabin is quite close to neighbors on both sides. Owner seemed not to entirely know how to use her website for booking, and even after confirming dates more than once with her, she mis-booked our stay and double-booked our last night at the cabin. During the middle of our last full day at the cabin, we were unexpectedly intruded upon by the property manager, who then demanded we prove that we had actually booked the cabin for that night. While we scrambled to find "proof," he made conversation by telling us how expensive the internet is at the cabins and how much money he sinks into the cabins each year. Ultimately, they did admit their mistake (only after we found emails confirming we HAD indeed booked the cabin for that last night), but he left us, saying that if the other folks who were booked for that night showed up at the cabin, we should just have them call him. Neither he nor the owner let us know when or if they got a hold of the other guests (even though we called later asking), so we were stuck in the cabin all afternoon just waiting to see if someone else was going to pop in on us unexpectedly. I'm sure it was an honest mistake, but it could have and should have been handled more professionally -- we came to the cabin in order to have some relaxation and privacy from the world. Also, the wireless internet authentication process does NOT work with smart phones, so if you need internet, bring a laptop.

A Perfect Northwest Getaway
November 14, 2012
We stayed at Maggie's Love Shack at the end of October and could not ask for a better place to enjoy the beauty of the Northwest. The cabin is beautiful both inside and out and the fireplace made the atmosphere even more comfortable as the leaves fell down. We will definitely be returning as soon as possible to hopefully experience all four seasons listening to the river flow by.
Cute Cabin Getaway

We stayed in Maggies Love shack, and it was so clean and cute inside. Everything was like new and a great layout. I would recommend it and we will defiantly come back sometime.
Great get away!

We had a great time at Maggie's cabin. It was my boyfriend first time the the Seattle area so it was a great place to show him the beauty of the mountains. The cabin had everything we needed. It felt just like home. The hot tub felt great after a day of hiking. We wished we could have stayed longer. Next time we visit from Houston we Definatly are going to stay there again. We might even skip staying in that city!!! We left feeling so refreshed. And the bottle of wine was great. Thanks do much for opening your great cabin!!! Angela and Eric.

Great location - awesome view. The house was a little dirty for the price. Bedding and towels were very low quality for the price as well. For the cost I would not go back.

This Love Shack was quiet, clean, as charming on the deck as it was inside. Loved hot tubbing under the stars and twinkle lights, loved the kitchen and supplies, LOVED the Keurig machine, and the complimentary glasses were a nice touch. The only reason for 4 stars is that the beds were sunken toward the middle and also we wished we could have seen (or at least walked down to) the river. We were too far to see or hear it. Next time, we'll just have to procure Maggie's Cabin and enjoy being riverside!! All in all a restful and beautiful setting. Even the trains rolling by added to the romance and nostalgia!

It was perfect!

The house was beautiful. It was modern and clean and just 30 minutes from the mountain or 10 minutes back to the local store for groceries and movies. My boys enjoyed the jacuzzi and I barbequed dinner on the covered patio. I would rent this cabin again in a heartbeat.
Slice of Heaven

This place was so perfect, peaceful, & relaxing! We were lucky to get to spend 3 nights in this lovely little place. Even my boyfriend was impressed. It was so cozy I felt right at home. The hot tub was a awesome perk too :) I didn't want to leave. I'm already looking at my schedule so I can go back! Thank you again for sharing!!! two thumbs up for sure!!!!!
Loved Maggies Loveshack!

Loved everything about put stay. The pictures really didn't do the cabin justice! Excellently furnished, well stocked (coffee, tea, sugar, books, games, DVDs), and the hot tub was the icing on the cake! I will be recommending the cabin to my friends, and will hopefully be visiting again at some point!

Great view, awesome hot tub and perfect retreat.

Stayed two nights at Maggie's cabin. It was a bit difficult to find the cabin initially but once we were there, it was everything I needed! The kitchen is very well stocked with cooking implements. Bedrooms are small but very cozy and comfortable. Leather couches are a great touch that make the room seem warmer and although the fire place was a bit difficult to get started initially it was my favorite part of the visit. Watching the fire burn and keeping warm all night! A soak in the hot tub is a must with a private deck and scenic views. Short and Sweet: If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle for a romantic weekend, this is the place to go!
Very romantic cozy cabin with great views

We had a beautiful time at Maggies cabin. Everything you need is in the Cabin even nice big robes, just bring food and a toothbrush :0). The view from this cabin was excellant not to mention the landscaping of the property. We can't wait to go back when the snow starts to fall!!!!!

The place was great. Definitely away from everything. Very relaxing. The only thing I recommend is to bring a portable heater for the rooms. The rooms get very cold at night.

Sparkling clean, pine covered walls and floors, wood burning stove, hot tub and the gorgeous Skykomish river rushing by mere feet away. Less than two hours away from Seattle but a world away from the stress of everyday life. This is the kind of romantic getaway I picture as being typically "Northwest". Our stay for Valentine's Day weekend was absolutely ideal. . .except I wish it had been a week instead of only a weekend. Highly recommended.
