Reviews for this vacation home rental in Sugarbush Village, Vermont
May 31, 2016
A group of 8 friends stayed at Andy's place this season and had a great time. Communication via email was without issues and the keys were mailed on time. The house was perfect for our group and there isn't really a bad thing to say about the place, other than I wish we stayed longer. We plan on returning for the 2017 season at Sugarbush. Thank you Andy

We stayed in this house this past weekend and had a great time. Being pet friendly, we were able to bring our dog and the location is convenient to Sugarbush as well as Burlington. We wish to thank the owner for the use of his house.
We will definitely be coming back again!

We had a wonderful weekend in Andy's home. The property is in an excellent location (minutes from Warren village and a short ride to Sugarbush and Waitsfield) and Andy couldn't have been more helpful or hospitable. We will definitely be coming back again!
Andy saved our weekend
February 3, 2014
Me and 8 of my friends stayed at this house for a three day weekend at Sugarbush (Thursday night to Sunday morning). The house was super convenient, located right off of RT 100, and 5-10 minutes from the resort. There is covered parking for 2 cars which was great because we didn't have to scrape ice off our cars! Inside, there is easily plenty of space for 8 people to stay comfortably here. The jacuzzi was small but very soothing for 2-3 people at a time after a long day on the slopes. The kitchen was very clean and modern, with both a island and a dining room table to eat at. Downstairs was a washer and a dryer, the latter which was very useful for drying our clothes after a long day on the slope. There was a deck and a nice backyard that I'm sure would have been great had we not been there during the summer. The pictures really don't do it justice how nice the place was. I also have to sing high praise about the landlord, Andy. Upon our arrival we did have a problem with the furnace ( a rare issue, not at all indicative of to the condition of the place). We called Andy (at midnight, nonetheless), and he took immediate action to make sure that the issue was resolved. Everything was resolved within an hour or so. He pretty much saved our bacon here, so I am extremely thankful. Because of our experiences here, I would *absolutely* recommend both the location as well as the excellent service provided by Andy. This location was truly a hidden gem for the cost, and if my friends and I plan another trip to Sugarbush, I would not hesitate to call Andy again. Thanks!
Great stay with dogs & grandkids

3 PMs here were exceptionally pleasant. Lower level totally renovated with 3 BRs, small bath and private access. Upstairs full kitchen, modern appliances and cable TV, bath & queen bed. Shallows at the river entertained dogs & children for hours. No WI-FI but nice walk to Warren Store or local library. Highly recommend this rental.
Great Little Get-Away!!

A group of my friends and family and I spent a weekend at this fabulous property! We were only 25 minutes from Waterbury, VT where we caught the Stowe Street Arts festival and the VT Mountain Bike Festival. We loved cooling off in the river in the back yard and skipping stones for hours on end. The house had plenty of room to sleep the 9 of us! The grill on the wrap around porch fired right up with one push of the ignitor! The back yard was plenty big enough for throwing the frisbee around. We will definitely be going back!

lots of room!

We recently had a wedding in the area and stayed with our newborn, in-laws and two dogs. The house never felt crowded. It was cheaper than getting hotel rooms for everyone, and very nice to have all the amenities and room for all the baby stuff. I gave 4 out of 5 stars only because it is on a busy road and we had to leash the dogs to take them out to the back yard. Other than that- loved our stay. Very convenient.

We recently stayed at this home with friends. It was beautiful! The pictures do not do it justice. It just felt like home. The large jetted bath and shower on the main floor are wonderfull! We hope to rent it for the same time next year!
Great house for a group of friends
February 22, 2009
We recently stayed here for a week-long ski trip in the mad river valley and had an excellent time. The house is very comfortable for up to 8 people; there is one bedroom upstairs, and three downstairs. 3 have queens and one has two twins. There are two baths, one upstairs with a large jacuzzi tub and one downstairs with a standing shower. The yard is beautiful, with a stream running through it and lots of room to play in the snow. The house also has two carports to keep the cars out of the snow and they plowed the driveway when it snowed. It's about 2 minutes from Warren town, which is very small, and about 15 min from Waitsfield, which has lots of restaurants and stores. Sugarbush and Mad River Glen are very close, and it's an hour from Stowe and Killington, and Burlington. Our only complaint was that there is no wood stove in the house as listed on the description! Everything else is accurate.
Snowboarding for a weekend
March 4, 2008
This house is perfect for a small group of friends. It slept 8 very comfortably. My only problem with this house was in the kitchen. The house sleeps 8 but there were only 4 bowls and very few plates. Also, there was only one pot and one pan. This made it very difficult to cook dinner for the 8 of us. Also, we ran out of toilet paper the second day we were there. We arrived with toilet paper in both bathrooms but there was only one extra roll in the upstairs bathroom. These were the only problems I had with the house. It snowed the day we arrived and all day the second day and the plow came by when we were out. The two car garage was also very useful.
Replaced the missing dishes soon after we were told (previous tenants had apparently broken and discarded a few). There is now a complete service for 6 to 8. Christina did not know about a second kitchen cabinet with additional pots and pans. We now try to put pots / pans in the windowed cabinet so they are visible to all.
On longer stays, paper goods are an initial supply. To maintain your privacy we do not restock supplies during your stay. If you have a larger group or longer stay, you may need to buy additional paper supplies.
