Description of the Surf City vacation home rental
Escape to Topsail Island and enjoy your vacation at a price that is hard to pass up. Our summer rate is one of the lowest for a well appointed 4BR/3BA home in such a great location for family fun. Our two story home is located south of the one (and only) stoplight on the island. It is convenient to shopping, restaurants, and even a playground for the kids. The cottage is one block back from a public beach access and we supply a buggy to carry all of your beach items for a day of fun and sun. It has two upper decks and one lower shaded deck. From one side of the top deck you can see a bit of ocean and the sound.

The beach house is well appointed and decorated with comfort in mind. There is a 1st floor sitting area and a second floor open LR, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is large and open with everything the cook or cooks need to prepare a meal for two or ten. Ceiling fans are in each BR and all living spaces, and bamboo flooring flows throughout the home. There are 4 color/cable TV's and a video library.

There is an outdoor(hot/cold) shower, laundry and storage room, and picnic table in the drive under with plenty of off street parking. We have provided deck furniture, and outdoor grill, beach chairs and boogie boards. We strive to provide everything you need for your great island vacation. SO COME TO THE ISLAND AND LET US HELP YOU PUT YOUR STRESS TO REST!!!!!

Area Information
Topsail Island is a small and quaint seaside community with friendly people and lots of interesting things to do.

Several species of sea turtles can be found at the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue Center in south Topsail Beach, about 5 minutes from the house. Nearly 100 nests are reported every year and the island is a sea turtle haven.

There is a lot of history on Topsail, from pirates to missiles, and you can learn a great deal at the Missiles and More Museum located in the Assembly Building.

There is a great Recreational Center with playgrounds, basketball, tennis, yoga, etc. just a few minutes across the swing bridge. Recreation and Parks offers many programs throughout the summer at various locations on the island. Islanders as well as touists enjoy great local seafood, biking, surf fishing, surfing, golf, shopping, and great restaurants.

Topsail offers many things to do and explore, that is if you can pull yourself away from the ocean and the beautiful white sand beach!!!

One great experience

Our vacation was one of the best we ever had. The house was clean and so homey. Although we had a little walk to the beach, most of the sand fell off by the time we got back. Then we were able to hose off or shower off the remaining sand before going into the house. The house was well equipped. Plenty of games and DVD's and everything we would need in a kitchen. The beach was very family orientated and clean. Our first night there, we saw a dolphin jumping around in the water. The sand crabs were plentiful to watch and a nearby fisherman showed off the small stingray he caught. My kids were also excited to see the turtle nest marked off. The next day they spotted new turtle tracks on their early morning walk. There was so much to see and do and so little time to do it all.
