This 2 bedroom cottage, complete with a kitchen, large and open living room with cozy wood burning stove, main floor laundry, central heating and the fire pit in the beautiful backyard is sure to please, whether you are here for a vacation or a business trip. The cottage is within walking distance to the beach, playgrounds, licensed restaurants and many ice cream parlors.

There are many attractions here in Sylvan Lake. On a hot summer day, the Lake is desirable to cool off in. You can go boating, ride go-karts, enjoy some ice cream, relax on the patio with a refreshing beverage, go shopping, horseback riding, fishing, or golfing. Even Dog Racing.

Between the, go-karts, the beach, 5 golf courses, parks & playgrounds, Sylvan Lake is definitely a desirable family vacation spot.

We are open year round and have plenty of activities to keep you busy through out the year.

Red deer is 15 minutes from Sylvan Lake and has a population of just over 14,300 . You are sure to enjoy the shopping, the beautiful parks, horseback riding, hay rides, and rodeos. Kids will love the variety of indoor public pool to choose from, wall climbing, laser tag and much, much more.

If this isn't enough, Calgary and Edmonton are closer then one hour and 45 minutes (165 KM each). Calgary is home to the Calgary Stampede, a fun and exciting rodeo with excellent entertainers sure to impress you. Edmonton has one of the largest alls in North America (West Edmonton Mall & Fantasy Hotel). You can shop till you drop, or play in the indoor water park and amusement park.

Camping can be done either in or around the surrounding areas of Sylvan Lake 1 1/2 s hours from The Rocky Mountains.

Hunting areas start outside of the town limits, although the more sought after spots are at the edge of the Rockies one 1/2 hour away from the Town of Sylvan Lake. Licenses are required.
Hunting for big game such as Deer, Elk, Moose.

- Local fish include Northern Pike, Perch, various species of trout, Wall Eye, Ling-cod
- Fishing equipment is available for rent with Guides or purchase in Fishing Stores

Snowmobiling & Quads
Most quads & snowmobiling is done about an hour 1/2 west of Sylvan Lake where the Rocky Mountains start. Quads and snowmobiles can be rented but must pre-arrange. Skill levels will definitely influence where you want to go. Trails are just starting to be developed.Trails are available. You can take Quads and Snowmobiles around the Lake
also its 15.62 kilometers or 9.3 miles long and it is a Freshwater Lake.
