Don't miss the chance to watch leatherback sea turtles hatch at Las Baulas National Marine Park, a little over 10 miles north.

Getting here

Buses run through town connecting with nearby towns and the country`s two major airports, and there are shuttle services that provide direct, air-conditioned trips to most major destinations within the country. Tamarindo also boasts a small airport, with two airlines offering multiple daily flights across Costa Rica.
