this is a very beautiful vacation rental house with the waterfall soo close to the house . It's a feeling like you are in heaven . If staying near this region then definitely stay in this house . It easily accommodates 10 ppl.
I stayed in this house with five other friends and it was great. The bar and darts downstairs were really fun and charming and the house was stocked with all necessary amenities. Would love to see it in the summer to take advantage of more outdoor activities.
My family and I had the best time. This beautiful house has everything you can imagine. The owner is so very kind and accommodating. I will definitely be back.
“Always a good time!”
I love staying at this home when I visit the area with my family. Flo is wonderful to work with, and the home is always clean and comfortable. We have stayed several times in the past, and already have another winter trip planned!
My girlfriends and I stayed here as a girls getaway for my birthday, this place was beautiful, homey, the backyard was amazing, we had fires at night and then headed down to the "Black and Tan" tavern(basement) for some darts, we had a great time and plan on coming back again for sure!!
Owner's reply: Thank you Jackie! I'm looking forward to having you back!
“Lovely Home in Beautiful NH Lake Region”
My husband and I recently stayed at this lovely property in Tamworth, NH. The house is beautifully decorated, thoughtfully appointed and impeccably clean. The kitchen is especially well equipped, which made preparing our meals much easier than in a typical rental. The lake community in which the house is located is serene and peaceful. We visited the lake and the views are beautiful. Although we did not engage in any water activities, we saw other people kayaking and swimming in the lake and they all appeared to be enjoying themselves. The house is ideally located for driving tours of the White Mountains and several regional lakes. The views can be spectacularly beautiful. There are also many charming towns to visit, such as Tamworth and Central Sandwich. We especially enjoyed stopping at the many local farm stands and antiques stores along the road. On weekends, there are also several yard sales with interesting items to explore. The owner of the house, Flo, is exceptionally considerate and welcoming. She made us feel very comfortable in her lovely home and we greatly appreciated that. She is also very easygoing and delightful to deal with. In sum, my husband and I had a wonderful one week stay at this property and we highly recommend it.
Owner's reply: Virginia, Thank you so much for writing this lovely review of the home, the area and your overall experience. You have been such a pleasure to engage with and I hope you will return. Flo
“Already planning our trip for next year!”
From the second you walk through the doors, you feel like it is your own home. Beautifully laid out, comfy as can be. We loved the fire pit and the outdoor furniture. It actually got the kids away from their iPads. Roasting marshmallows to the soothing sounds of the NH woods. So many things to do in such a short drive (or walk to beach). Ideal rental home, ideal location! !
“A perfect escape!”
This was by far the nicest rental I have ever had the pleasure of making. Quiet wooded setting, 4 minute walk to the beach that has stunning views of Mt. Chocorua. The water was pristine and deep enough to dive. This home has every convenience and a marvelously outfitted kitchen. Having laundry and dishwasher was a definite plus! It is spacious, beautifully decorated and maintained and the owner was an excellent communicator and very attentive to detail. Our family favorites included playing darts in the Black & Tan recreated English pub in the basement, toasting marshmallows on the fire pit in the backyard, kayaking on the quiet pond through water lilies and hearing the loons call early in the morning, taking in a professional theater production at the local Barnstormers, and generally slowing down! The property is 'centrally isolated' and there is equally easy access to North Conway attractions and those in the Meredith area, but even better was getting away from those trafficked areas! I grew up in the area, and this home reminded me of all that I loved as a child. You will not regret vacationing at this idyllic home!
Owner's reply: I'm speechless! What a wonderful review and I'm so happy to know you loved it - the home, the area, the beach. It really is a gem and I'm happy to have shared it with you and your family.
Rented this house for a girls weekend, best decision we ever made. Flo was great to work with, house was clean and in an unbelievable location- 1/3 mile from a private lake, 15 minutes from Lake Ossippe, 20 minutes from North Conway. The only complaint we had was that we couldn't stay longer. We'll definitely be renting this house again!
Owner's reply: Thank you Maria!
“Had a great stay in a beautiful house!”
The house was immaculate when we entered and very welcoming! Had a wonderful time with friends (6 people total) for the weekend. Of the three bedrooms, one of the beds was a twin pull out, that was converted to a queen, one was king and the other queen. The basement was gorgeous and there were plenty of games in the house! The only problem was that the heat was set to 80 and for some reason no matter how many times we changed the temperature of the thermostat, it would go back to 80. It would get REALLY hot, especially at night and we needed to open windows to cool it down a bit.
Owner's reply: Hi Kunica, Thanks so much for taking the time to post a review and I appreciate your kind words and your feedback about the thermostat. The thermostat is usually set to 68 degrees .When you turn it up or down it is only a temporary setting. I would've been able to easily walk you through how to reset it. Please don't hesitate to reach out in the future with any questions. I hope this didn't cause you and your friends too much inconvenience. Thanks again. Flo
