“Great place for large groups”

Reviewed 2 Jan 2015

There were plenty of beds and a great game room with a jukebox air hockey pool and many classic arcade games. There are great porches with a lovely view of the lake. There is a great fireplace that completes the experience. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would really suggest this house you may just have to bring a few kitchen items but in general they have what you need!

“Great family place”

Reviewed 28 Feb 2014

I stayed here with 2 other families with kids ranging from 9 to 17. The game room was great for them and they loved the juke box. The layout of the house is great too. The adults slept upstairs and the kids were on the main level. The fire places were great just a bit hard to light. I didn't like the fact that there were no towels at all. A couple of hand towels and floor mat would have been nice. Also I think they need to stock the kitchen with better pots and pans but we made do. It was not far from Camelback about a 10 min drive. Overall we had a great trip.

“Grt Fam House-didn't mind staying in on rainy days”

Reviewed 8 Jan 2014

Great location. Gameroom was mostly functional; only a couple not working. It was an effective distraction on days too rainy to ski. Looks like the owners took earlier comments to heart. All sofabeds were fantastic. Not all had sheets but we made due. New washer dryer. Some of the dining room chair seats were not attached although they were otherwise in fine shape. Sofabed in front of tv on second floor so you don't have to sit at DR table to watch. Grill worked well enough but was corroded. Plenty of propane was provided. Wireless Internet was robust so that those of us who had Xmas duty could telecommute. Bandwidth was sufficient to keep all teens happy.

“Good Stay”

The stay here was AMAZING. the kids had a lot of fun with the game room. Parents had a lot of fun also. This place has a very home like feeling but also a mountain house feeling. Would recommend it for sure.

This house is right on a lake with a good fire-pit and a paddle-boat as well as a canoe to use. It's not super-fancy inside, but it's adequate. It has all the essentials you would need. It's close to the casino, ski area/waterpark. It's a central location, not too far from the highway, but far enough where you feel removed and isolated in the woods. Most of the beds are bunk-bed style. The game-room is great. A lot of fun. Overall a nice place for a long weekend getaway.

“what a great time”

the games kept the kids busy while we were not on the slopes, everything was funtional, directions were explicit and clear. the owners were on top of everything. the house and accomodatiions were perfect. Thanks for everything. We now plan to do this yearly. Thanks again.

“What a weekend”

We had a blast. the cabin was in great shape, the weather was beautiful. Gun Range near by was an added Bonus. Great place for our guys weekend, but I plan to go back with the family as well.

“Cozy and warm”

Reviewed 25 Feb 2009

I just wanted to let people know this house is nice and has a lot of potential, Bedrooms and bathrooms are nice and clean. But, the pull couches are in horrible condition, you would be better off using a air mattress. Lot of lights needed new bulbs which there was none. Game room was nice typical finished basement with gas fireplace which did make it very nice and warm. Junke Box did not work but all of the other games work nicely. All the kids enjoyed the game room. The second floor where the kitchen was had a nice big table to seat a large family. With the large plasma television was nice. It would have been nice to see a small couch to sit on an watch the television instead of sitting at the kitchen table. Overall for the price over the holiday weekend this is not a bad house to entertain families. The surroundings was very nice, the lake was frozen and the kids went an played hockey. We also watched people ice fishing. We would rent this house again, just a little TLC.

We just returned home from our weekend stay and all I can say is AWESOME! The house is in a great location as far as shopping/restaurants/candle stores and Camelback mountain all within no more than a 10 minute ride! We had 8 adults and 6 children and we ALL had a great time! The house kept EVERYONE BUSY with the game room in the basement and the playset along side of the house and it snowed on Sat which made the whole trip worth while! We went tubing at Camelback and came back to the house and the kids were actually sledding and snowboarding right along side of the house. We made s'mores at the fire pit out back and everyone enjoyed the PLAZMA TV! We all decided to make this an annual trip from now on!
