Description of the Taos vacation home rental
The skiing is great this winter. The house is close to the ski valley, about 25 minutes away. Or you can just come settle by the fire and wander around the fun town of Taos. Come to Luna Vista in Taos, a spacious adobe home. Enjoy the glorious views of Taos Mountain and the Sangre de Cristo Range from the front porch or the hot tub. Or, take in the views from Luna Vista's roomy interior. Sleeping features are a bedroom with a massive king sleigh bed and another with two queens. The sofa pulls out to a queen in the living room as well. The house is built with traditional viga ceilings and tile floors and sports furniture built for comfort, a complete kitchen with enough room for two cooks, original Southwestern art work and a cozy TV nook with recliners off the living room. The banquet-type dining table and openness make for great for entertaining yet the home encourages intimate getaways as well. While in Taos, visit the Taos Pueblo, or any number of shops, restaurants, music venues, museums and art galleries. Enjoy Taos Ski Valley or one of the many colorful towns nearby, then return to the serenity of your accommodations.
Two Hour Drive from Albuquerque Airport, 15 Min. from Taos) The ski valley for winter fun is 25 minutes away (Taos Ski Valley) and there are others in the area. The house is a nice base in the summer for people who want to hike, raft, walk, enjoy Taos Pueblo or excellent small museums and great restaurants.

Pets are welcome. When you arrive, you will be asked to give my managers a check for $50 per pet as a refundable deposit. The check is then torn up after the maid checks the home. Usually no problem. There is no fenced yard. Pets must be walked and taken with you when you go out or kenneled. I have a kennel if you don't want to travel with one.
I send a contract stating the amount for deposit which is normally half the rent minus the tax. Renters may return the signed contract with a check or write in their credit card. If they are not comfortable with that, they are able to call me with the number. After I receive the contract and payment, I send an invoice showing the rest of the amount due upon arrival. Last minute is thru e-mail.
