I spent a week enjoying Taos at this property with my sisters. Everything was wonderful! The house is lovely. It's just a few minutes from town, but very private and secluded. Equipped with everything you could possibly want/ need. It has a true Taos vibe! Inviting and comfortable. The grounds and views are truly spectacular. I would highly recommend this beautiful property. The owner was so fantastic to work with. After our departure, he notified me that some valuable jewelry had been found- inadvertently left behind by one of my party. He then proceeded to figure out best way to return it to us. Had to insure, ship, etc. Way above and beyond! I travel to Taos frequently, and am so looking forward to my next stay at this fabulous property.

Our stay was almost two full weeks. The home has a lot of New Mexico charm and the views are spectacular! It's a safe place to stay too, no worries about the area. We want to give a shout out to George, the property manager for the great tips on places to visit. We loved the Ghost Ranch! Also, want to mention the excellent medical care in Taos that my daughter received when we unfortunately had to make a trip to ER. I highly recommend this vacation home for travelers with families. The Taos and surrounding area is a great place to spend a vacation!

We've stayed at many places in different areas and different states and this particular location was different than anything we'd experience. In short, because of its location in the middle of open fields and the architecture of the house, we felt we took in a piece of New Mexico back with us. The kids just loved the place, inside, outside, there was always something to stay entertained with (there's board games and tv with lots or movies to watch and wifi works great). The views outside were awesome. A spent two evenings and two mornings outside with coffee, camera, and tripod. Being isolated from the rest of society was new to us but that's what made our stay memorable. We would definitely stay here again as the owner's hospitality around his home is felt without his precense.

This was the perfect house for our family reunion. Quiet mornings drinking coffee together, cool nights at the fire pit, and exploring Taos and northern New Mexico during the day. The views are spectacular and the sunsets breathtaking. Thank You!

This is a hoise I would highly recommend to those heading to Taos. The house is about 6 miles South of Taos - close enough to be in Taos in 10 minutes but out far enough to have great views and spectacular sunsets! We spent mornings and late afternoons outside just taking in the scenery. We really enjoyed the Hummingbirds and rabbits.. The house is situated ideally for day trips, having great access to the major highways. The owner is extrememly accommodating as well! The house is set up with several rooms ideal for reading while enjoying the scenery outdoors. There are books and DVD's for everyone and the kitchen is great with all the necessities. If you're coming to Taos, this is the house for you!

It was what I wanted- close to the city but private and wild. Lots of birds, funny cottontail rabbits, some more daring than others, almost complete silence (except for the birds and an occasional distant barking dog). One can see for miles and miles, and the changing colors of sunrises and sunsets are a spectacle to watch. My only complaint (addressed to myself)- it was so relaxing and peaceful to be in the garden around the house that I gave up on half of my sightseeing/hiking plans.

This house is very nice and has fantastic views {they were enjoyed by all of us}. We found the the house was really equipped with everything you needed to cook at home and have family meals that we could enjoy when we wanted. The fire pit was really nice on the cool nights to do some star gazing. It is very close to Hot Springs and a short drive to Taos. I really enjoyed watching the humming birds at the feeder they almost landed on my finger. Thanks for sharing your home with us Randy & Diane

Our family of three plus photographer brother stayed here for 10 days in late July. We had a great stay. The house was beautiful, spacious, well furnished and well decorated in a comfortable southwest style. The beds were extremely comfortable. Loved the birds. Bought and left a hummingbird feeder outside the sun room. The hummers kept us entertained daily. Almost every night we sat outside and watch spectacular lightning storms off in the distance. But it rarely actually rained. The house is outside of town, but just a few minute easy drive to the center of Taos. Lots of great restaurants. Especially loved the old Rancho de Taos Plaza Grill. The best red chili sauce we found. Be sure to funyak the Rio Grande Gorge. Taos was smaller than we expected, but charming and friendly. The surrounding area has great hikes and history. After leaving Taos we spent a day in Bandolier National Monument, another in Chaco Canyon, and a third at Acoma Pueblo. I highly recommend all three. Thanks, Stephen, for sharing your great spot with us. We hope to return one day.
