Solid oases in sizzling Tel Aviv

July 10, 2011

From the moment we entered there was a very relaxed vibe. In the middle of busy sizzling Tel Aviv, Dizengoff Beach Apartments makes a solid oases where you can relax and be alone for a while after walking though the 'White City' and all of it's charm. Of course, once you slept for an hour and open the doors to one of the amazing Bauhaus-inspired balconies, all of Tel Aviv pours into your room, making you ready for a (very late) night of partying. Or dining and a stroll at the beach, as you prefer. Zanda, the hostess, is the Hollywoodversion of a receptionist. So very cute and nice it gives you a toothache, but never insincere. Like a hotel, she is happy to provide you with as many (beach)towels you want and calls (thourough) housekeeping in a second. Altho the question if 'everything is alright' might seem a little bit excessive to ask twice everyday, it goes to show that she wants your stay to be as perfect as can be. Great, but what was so good about it? The hot water was HOT. The airconditioning was COLD. The kitchen was complete and clean. The balconies and the view are amazing (do ask for a balcony because I'm quite sure there are also rooms without balcony). From what I've seen it's cheaper than other similar appartments. The beds and pillows were fine. Appearantly the walls are thick beacause i heard no neighbours at all. It's above a liquor store! (kidding, but not really). Im happy we went to Dizengoff Beach Apartments instead of using a hotel. We made a lot of friends in our vacation and it was no problem for them to come up and have drinks, or even stay the night. No extra fee was charged. We didnt even had to stop at the elevator. That made things very laid back and relaxed. I will come back here.
