“Just what we wanted”

Reviewed 28 Aug 2016

We thought a few days in the cooler mountains would be a good anniversary gift to one another. Apparently we were right! We came back happier than ever that we are married. Better than the original honeymoon. The cabin had everything we needed: clean, comfortable, feeling of privacy and intimacy.

“Quiet cozy getaway”

Reviewed 2 Nov 2015

overall very pleasant experience. Will list some things we feel could make it even better. TV does not receive local channels causing us to miss game 1 of the World Series ( A big deal when you're from Missouri. ) Electricity went out for a couple of hours. Could have used bigger candles. When I called the electric company, which was after hours, their automated system did not have the phone number listed in their system. Could not get ahold of anyone. Had no water or electricity and was dark and stormy. The flooring should be replaced in kitchen and bathroom. Thermostat on hot tub is not accurate. Again overall it was a very pleasant experience. From the description online, we thought it would be a little more private, Neighbors very close. Hidden by woods but just a few feet away

Owner's reply: Great feedback Glenn. Your partial refund hopefully covered the power outage and inconvenience. Unfortunately our new neighbors have a right to be there, but are very friendly and unobtrusive. The hot tub appeared to be fine after you left, but we will definitely take care of the things we can, i.e., stocking better candles, updating power company & other instructions, and redoing the floors. Thanks!

“A Girls Weekend”

Reviewed 16 Oct 2014

It was a girls weekend for myself, 13 year old daughter and her friend, we had a good time, the cabin was nice and cozy. Everyone should know that you have to drive through a creek to get to the cabin, it is very remote and no cell service, I was not aware of these aware of these things before booking my trip. I did take advantage of the quiet relaxing time that we had, everyone did quite a bit of sleeping... We enjoyed the hot tub, grilled out each day, and the girls had a wonderful time making smores at the fire-pit.. We had the time to actually talk and enjoy each other without all the distractions of everyday life.

My wife and I rode a motorcycle there from cincinnati and it was very nice cabin the creek was passable with a motorcycle witch I was worried about. I liked the fact that I could have a fire and sit in hot tube a see fire at the same time

Owner's reply: Glad you enjoyed your stay with us Dennis - and thanks for the kind words!

“Fun weekend away”

Reviewed 16 Sep 2009

My wife and I had an enjoyable time getting away to the Cherokee National Forest and staying in the woods in this cabin. The cabin had all the amentities we needed. The management staff was awsome in helping out with my last minute loss of directions. Looking forward to returning.

“A weekend away from it all”

We stayed at Cupids Cove in March. It is a quaint, cozy little hide away far from the hustle and bustle of the city life. We enjoyed our stay. It is so peaceful and quite. The mountains of East Tennessee or breath taking.

This was such a treat! What a charming place! Everyone here was so friendly and helpful. I can't wait until we can come here again. - Tom & Shekila, Panama City, FL.

We had a wonderful time staying here. We got to relax and sleep in! It's so peaceful and quiet here. We did get to do a couple of fun things. The Lost Sea was really interesting and amazing. Went to the Skyway and saw all the beautiful scenery and the falls, and people say all this just happened by chance? Only God can create such beautiful and intricate things. - Lititz Family, Pennsylvania
