We were Jan-Feb "Snow-birds", first time here. Two items make this a standout rental for this demographic. #1-Realtor's always talk Location. This house is less than 100 yards from a main street. Many properties are deep in a specific Village and are difficult to navigate at first. The main E/W route, 466, is but a couple minutes North where many restaurants and shopping areas are located. It is about a block away from a N/S main street which puts you very close to Sumpter Landing, one of the three Town Centers. Both are quick/easy golf cart rides away, as are several Rec Centers including a large regional one. (Rec Centers have: pools, Bocce & shuffleboard courts, pickleball, some tennis, horseshoes, billiards, meeting rooms for many clubs and activities-cards, games, musical events, etc.) #2-The outside of the house. This house has perhaps the best patio and landscaping of any property we have seen down here. There are five full sized palm trees and numerous other plants, shrubs, and flowers. The tiled patio has seating for 12. Perfect for reading, napping, or just sitting and enjoying a snack or beverage. Great area to take pictures to send back to your friends in the snowy North of you enjoying the warmth of Florida surrounded by beautiful Florida vegetation. (Owners description of the interior of the house is correct.) Even as a first time visitor one can quickly find numerous activities in which to participate. There is a newspaper supplement of some 60+ pages, each week, listing fun things to do throughout the area. There is no need to venture outside of the boundaries of The Villages as everything is available. Price is always the object, no matter what people say. The value of this rental is straight forward. Everything is included. No extras for tax or golf cart, which can add up to a large extra hidden cost of rentals. For "Peak Season" this is one of the least expensive units here, even for the ones in the far North or South that are not convenient to all that this place has to offer. Also, the owners, Vicki and George, have been great to work with, very quickly answering our questions both prior to and upon arrival. (Haven't needed to contact them for anything since the first couple days after arrival.) The PO Box rental is just a couple of miles away for mail forwarding and get a newspaper subscription as it contains tons of information.
My thanks to Denny and Ann for this very nice review of our home in The Villages, Fla. We are so happy that you enjoyed staying at our home for your winter vacation. It is my and George's intentions to provide to our renters a home that is comparable to their home away from home. We strive to maintain the cleanliness of our home and the upgraded furniture, etc. In this regard we wish to give the renters their monies worth. Thank you again. Please come back again.

I immediately knew the area. The home was beautiful and well taken care of. The bedrooms were large and comfortable I would rent it again. Love my stay.
Additionally the January tenants were told of the car in the garage and they said it was "OK". I was not aware that after the fact they were disappointed with the beautiful home.
This is the first time that I have had a disappointed renter. Anyone who has ever rented our home has never complained about a car in the garage. I have renters who are repeat customers. The home is designer decorated and is decorated as a bed and breakfast. There are art pictures around the home since I am an artist and love to show my work. The golf cart is serviced every November and was serviced this past November. Never had a problem before with our golf cart. New sheets were purchased prior to this rental as well as new towels and wash cloths. They were given specific instructions in the contract as well as in the introductory letter as to what to do with the house keys instead they decided to lock the door and not follow instructions for the door keys. No one ever yelled at them. There were very civil conversations between my husband and the tenants. They were repeatedly asked if there was any problems and they never said that there were. We strive to make our tenants comfortable Everyone who has ever rented our home has had nothing but rave comments and have always expressed their extreme pleasure in such a beautiful home and a clean one as well.
