Description of the Tillamook vacation home rental
This historic Cape Meares cabin is an original, built in 1932. The quaint cabin is located just steps from the beautiful Pacific Ocean.

You enter the house into the spacious living room, with several sofas and plenty of room; ample room for the whole family. The wood burning stove is perfect for taking off the evening chill.

The large picture windows, located though out the house, allow you to take in the beauty of your surroundings in a natural setting.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessary kitchen gadgets. There is an eating bar, as well a dining table and a large viewing window to enjoy the serene view this quiet village has to offer.

There are 2 bedrooms on the main level of the home, both with queen beds. The upper level has 4 individual twin beds and a full sized, which means everybody gets their own bed.

The full bath is located on the main floor of the house.

We are located away from it all, so let the stress of life melt away. Bring a good book and be prepared to rejuvenate your soul and make memories to last a life time!

Fantastic location!!! Rough accommodation.

The location is truely fantastic! Yards away from the beach, with something of a view from kitchen and dining areas. If you value a truely beautiful, long and unspoiled sandy beach above all, then this may be the location for you. Other than Saturdays, we found we shared the entire 2+ mile beach with fewer than a dozen people at any given time. We found the cabin to be clean, and quite tidy. The cabin is comfortably, if rusticly furnished & well-spaced for 6; though "beds" enough for 11. Beds were very basic, and amazingly uncomfortable. Bring mattress pads, if you can. The 2 downstairs bedrooms barely have space for a small queen bed in each, with no space to move beside the beds. Thin walls offer no privacy. The rest of the house furnishings were suprisingly cozy by comparisson, and rooms well-laid out to maximize socialization. The upstairs bedroom is a finished attic, running the length of the house and ideal as a kids' slumber party space. If more than 6 guests will be in the cabin, consider bringing additional tableware and cookware. What is there is very servicable, just few in quantity. Also, you will need to come up with a plan on effectively sharing the single bathroom. 6 is certainly do-able. We had 4 adults and 4 kids, and managed; but "11"...? We stayed 8 days, and other than a lack of restful sleep among the adults we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The beach made ALL the difference for us!
