Area Information
Cabbagetown, is the neighbourhood just north of where the townhouse is situated (Dundas & Parliament). Cabbagetown was once one of the poorest neighbourhoods in Toronto, but is now a much sought-after enclave boasting restored Victorian homes, friendly neighbourhood pubs and some of the best cafes in the city. According to the Cabbagetown Preservation Association, Cabbagetown comprises "the largest continuous area of preserved Victorian housing in North America".

Parliament street was named for the Parliament Buildings of Upper Canada, built in 1794 on the south side of Front Street (then Palace Street) just west of Parliament Street. Parliament is the main arterial street which runs through Cabbagetown and is lined with restaurants, cafes and shops.

Within a 1 minute walk from the townhouse you'll find:
- Freshco (a major Grocery Store offering quality food and produce at reasonable prices)
- Tim Hortons open 24H (Canada's favourite coffee shop)
- Rogers Plus (Movies, Games, Wireless, Internet, Cable TV, Home Phone provider)
- RBC Bank
