About the area

What is Lincoln County? Fishing Hunting Hiking Camping River Running Mountain Biking Swimming Boating Horseback Riding Water Skiing Snow Skiing Snowmobiling Snowboard The area is now rapidly becoming an internationally recognized recreational destination with two golf courses, horseback riding, hiking trails, kayaking, rock climbing, water/snow skiing, boating, fishing, world-class snowmobiling or just communing with nature as you slowly drift down one of the scenic rivers. Numerous restaurants, shop and galleries provide an opportunity to sample the local cuisine while enjoying the work of the many artists and craftsmen who call Montana their home. Lake Over 75% of the land in Lincoln County is owned by the Federal/State governments, which guarantees that the unspoiled wilderness areas will be preserved. Large tracts of land are still available, along with small acreage and developed building sites for a fraction of the cost of most other recreational communities. Lincoln County is 3-5 times larger than the state of Rhode Island but is populated by less than 20,000 people. This special place is just being discovered by those who have had their fill of shoulder-to-shoulder living, and bumper-to-bumper vacations We have been blessed with wonderful lakes, rivers, streams and creeks that run clear and clean. Our water resources are precious, abundant and a joy to behold, to hear, and to remember.

“Eureka Paradise”

Reviewed 29 Dec 2014

Winter on the lake!!!!!! Beautiful setting and warm welcome. Very clean with everything you need within the warmth of log and granite surroundings. Thank you Rick for being available to us when we needed you in our stay this Christmas. Wild life at our door step and fresh fallen snow and the lake within view. Tucked away from the highway and yet very easy to get to from Eureka and Whitefish only half an hour away. A beautiful winter wonderland!!!!!!

“Way too short a stay”

We have stayed at many lakes in many types of accommodations and cabins over the years. This was by far our favourite. Lake was warm, calm and there were never a large number of boats on the lake. The cabin was extraordinary....and pleased to say that they have put in an air conditioner (nice to see that they valued feedback). Very accommodating hosts.....we will definitely be returning next year

“Fabulous week”

Reviewed 20 Aug 2013

The location was great, the owner and his family were awesome, the water was turquoise, the temperature was hot, the cabin was a great size for our family of 5. Only wish there would have been air conditioning. Other than that, it was an awesome trip and we would love to do it again next summer!

Owner's reply: Charlene, Glad you enjoyed your stay & we look forward to having you stay with us again. - we have a window AC unit there now ;) Xyane & Rick

“We loved Dickey Lake!”

We had a wonderful week at Dickey Lake. The "clubhouse" was just perfect for our family of 6. The lake was warm and fairly calm and we were able to enjoy the tennis courts at various times throughout the day. We would definitely recommend this as a great family vacation opportunity. Doug and Joy

Owner's reply: Joy & Doug, Glad you enjoyed your stay & we look forward to having you stay with us again. :) Xyane & Rick
