Description from owner

Sun Sand Surf Solitude.

Casa Las Piedras is a uniquely designed luxury villa, run as a boutique Bed and Breakfast inn. The entire house can be rented by day or by week. Please contact us by e-mail for rental information and availability.

Upon your arrival Anai and Jorge, our innkeepers, will greet you with a drink and fresh guacamole and chips.

At Casa Las Piedras you will relax in a hammock or around the Infinity pool, take a walk along the beach or enjoy a massage from our on-site massage therapist. Sleep to the sound of the surf. Awake to a sumptuous daily breakfast. Practice yoga under our outdoor pergola. Order a specially prepared dinner of varied regional fare.

Our modern hacienda overlooks the Pacific Ocean, and is surrounded by lush gardens and tropical fruit trees. The villa is open throughout. Handcrafted designs and fine art balanced with modern touches create a soothing ambiance. The house and gardens have many nooks where one can find a private place for relaxation. You will be fascinated with the architecture. Everything you see was made on the property.

We are located on Playa Troncones: a 5-mile long sandy beach interspersed with rock formations and tidepools. The beach is a popular spot for surfing, as well as horseback riding, swimming, and birdwatching. Manzanillo Bay is within easy walking distance. Anai and Jorge can arrange surfing instructions as well as board rentals. Other activities include: Mountain biking, Deep-sea fishing and boat charters. Abundant birds and whale watching (in season).

“Beautiful property in an idyllic location”

Reviewed 5 Jan 2017

We stayed at Casa Las Piedras recently as a group of 8 adults on a yoga retreat. It was an amazing privilege to be able to make this beautiful property our home for the week. The furnishings and amenities are luxurious, but the house still maintains a sense of rustic charm. We are most of our meals at the property, cooked wonderfully by the staff of the casa who live on the property. The food (and juices/smoothies/etc) was fresh, delicious, simple, healthy and satisfying. The house has a lovely common space where most people socialized, as well as several more secluded areas where one could experience some solitude. The pool was a great temperature, slightly cooler than the ocean, and was a great place to relax. Troncones is a quick cab ride or a 15-20 minute walk. Anything we needed was easily taken care of by Ana-i, including arranging help with the local pharmacy, getting groceries and alcohol, setting up taxis and excursions (a hike up to a mountain village and waterfall and a fishing trip) and even arranging for a local jewelry artist to come to the house. There were many other options for things to do they could have arranged for us as well through their numerous connections, and I must say I appreciated just being able to converse about options with Ana-I rather than having activities pedaled by someone you just met on the beach. All in all, our experience staying at Casa Las Piedras in Troncones was one we will always remember and cherish, and it was truly made special by the efforts of the owner Effy and the staff Ana-i and Jorge and their children, and all of the other wonderful locals who we met during our stay.

“most amazing vacation EVER!!!!!!!!!!!”

We stayed here and it was the most amazing trip I've ever been on the house was to-die-for! the couple whom cared for the property were so fun ,sweet, and helpful.. and her cooking was hands down the best Mexican food I've ever eaten . We were literally step away from the ocean and could hear the wave crashing continually ...The town was very close by and made it easy to buy and get things that we needed. the people were so warming and the little shops/restaurants ..YUMMY.. The infinity pool was the best made it easy to cool down.I never wanted to leave!!! I would go back in a heart beat. Good for family , friends ,weddings anniversaries anything really.. If you ean to go to mexico and feel at home safe and enjoy your self to the fullest then you have to come here!
