Reviews for this vacation condo rental in Tucson, Arizona
January 8, 2016
This condo has a great view of the catalina mountains and situated close to anything you needed. Downtown Tucson only 25 minutes away, and plenty to do and see in the entire region. The unit had all the amenities and was very clean and comfortable. The second story master bedroom was perfect allowing for my brother to have his own space on the first floor. We enjoyed our stay very much and Sal was always making sure everything was o.k. Really liked being so close to Sabino Canyon as well, which is truly one of nature's wonders.......we would stay here again.

We spent March and April at this wonderful place. Everything was very ready for us when we arrived. It is a bright, open plan condo. The location gave us lots of privacy and a good look at the occasional visiting javalina and bobcats as well as many birds. There is a great place to walk our dog. We met many friendly people in the complex. We liked it so much we plan to come back for 3 months next year!

This property was located conveniently in an area with many opportunities for activities - namely the Canyon for hiking and close to Tucson's finest attractions. The home was well equiped with all necessary items and very clean. The two level design made it perfect for guests. We enjoyed the pool, fitness room and clubhouse. The wireless internet and printer were also a plus. We felt "at home" for the whole month.

We stayed in this condo for 5 weeks in December 2011/January 2012. The landlord is very accomodating and communicates in a timely manner. The kitchen was wonderful -- I was thrilled with the appliances and loved the fact that it even had a toaster oven. The beds were extremely comfortable. Although the pool did not feel heated to me, I did see kids swimming. I enjoyed the chairs around the pool to lay out and enjoy the sunshine. The condo is in a very quiet, gated complex and the neighbors were all very friendly. We enjoyed the area and plan to return to Tucson next year.

We had a fantastic time. Thank you Bill. If you want a place you can kick back and relax then this property is the one you want. My dad did not want to leave and that speaks volumes.
We had a wonderful, relaxed stay.

We recently spent 3 weeks in Sal's condo and enjoyed it very much. The unit itself was spacious and well laid out, clean, and well equipped. Sal was very responsive to any questions or needs we had. We also enjoyed the clubhouse, pool, hot tub, and pool table which were located close by. We found the location to be ideal for seeing and experiencing Tucson (we had never been before) as well as the amazing hiking opportunities in the Catalina mountains just a half mile away.
We would recommend this rental to anybody wanting a comfortable, relaxed stay in Tucson.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review and for taking good care of our "Hideaway" during your stay. My wife Pam and I enjoy a relaxing stay at our unit ourselves whenever we get a chance to escape to the Tucson foothills.

We recently spent seven weeks at this spacious two-story condo and found it extremely agreeable. The location of the complex is excellent for nearby hiking and cycling, and the location of the unit is perfect - quiet, away from the main road, and close to a wash, where you can hear the birds singing every morning. We were even lucky enough to watch a bobcat saunter past one evening. The condo is clean, well-furnished, with excellent wireless internet options and a well-stocked kitchen. The owners are very attentive, calling to make sure everything is in working order. I would highly recommend a stay at this condo.

We had a good time at Sal's Tucson condo during February 2011. My wife had medical problems while we were there and the Tucson Medical Center was great. Because of her medical condition she was confined to the condo most of the time. She enjoyed looking out the windows at all the birds. We saw Gambel's quails out the dining window once or twice a day as a flock went by. We also were visited by Gala Woodpeckers at the suet, and we put up a hummingbird feeder and watched a couple different types. We saw yellow finches and one day a hawk joined us for lunch and brought his own lunch too!
The kitchen was well equipped and I cooked a lot of meals in the condo since my wife couldn't go out. With the Sabino Canyon only a mile away, I escaped for an hour or two almost daily and hiked a lot of the shorter paths. The condo and neighborhood are both quiet. I enjoyed playing pool at the clubhouse.

Thanks again. We really enjoyed the stay. The condo was very comfortable, especially the bed. The people were very nice in the area and we were close to all of our favorite bicycle riding areas.
Have a great week,

The location of your condo next to Sabino Canyon was wonderful, and it was conveniently located to a lot of great restaurants and shops. We spent some nice time walking around the complex, exploring the washes with our son and generally enjoying the fine weather in Tucson. The amenities at your location were well thought out, and we found all the things we needed were there for a short vacation stay.
We all hope you had a great holiday as well. And if our plans allow us to come back out to Tucson next year, we'll make sure to reach out to you again.
My wife, mother and I stayed at the Ventana Vista Condominiums on Sabino Canyon Road throughout most of the month of July, and part of August. Ventana Vista Condominiums is a gated community nestled in the Tucson Foothills, a very attractive and calm location. Really quiet. The accommodations were very nice and comfortable. There are two main bedrooms, with an sofa bed and a foo ton if you happen to have guests stay over. We were also provided with cable, long distance and cable. We watched our fill of classic movies.
The condo complex is kind of like a small community, with a very friendly neighbors and a clubhouse. The clubhouse has a swimming pool, a hot tub (plus another one located elsewhere in the complex), a pool table, TV, exercise room, and a wide selection of books in a book exchange.
The condo complex is secluded enough to have some privacy, but is is also near everything you could want. There are several restaurants nearby, as well as pharmacies, supermarkets, convenience stores, gas stations, banks, Kinko's, churches, shopping malls, etc. Sabino Canyon, a nature preserve that makes a good day trip, is only one mile away from the Condo complex entrance. Mount Lemmon, the southern most ski area in the U.S., is only one hour's drive away and within sight of the condo. During our stay, we needed to be close to Tucson Medical Center, and this is only a 15 minute drive away.
I liked to stay at this condo for all these reasons, but the thing I liked the most was being around nature. Since the condo lies only one mile away from Sabino Canyon, and three creeks (while dry) run through the property, there is an abundance of wildlife. We saw quail, woodpeckers, mourning doves, cottontail rabbits, and hawks, among others. I saw a bobcat in the early hours of the morning, a rare sight indeed. We even had a herd of Javelina come to eat near our front door, not once, but twice.
The property is managed by RIncon Property Management, and they were the icing on the cake of our stay at this condo. They were very helpful and attentive. If you are planning to stay at this property, please don't hesitate to contact me

Just a short note to pass on my thoughts on the condo rental.
My family and I were very satisfied with your unit. It has a floor plan that was well suited for family use, since my daughter and her family could use the upstairs portion and I could use the downstairs bedroom and we could all have our privacy. We found the furnishings to be quite nice and the amenities very thoughtful.
My daughter and family might be interested in a future late March rental during their daughters one week Spring Break. I might be interested in a future rental during Feb. for the annual Gem Show.
