Reviews for this vacation home rental in Tucson, Arizona
Beautiful and Relaxing!

We spent several days with our family on vacation here (4 adults, 1 child). The home is exactly as advertised, plenty of room, well equipped kitchen, spectacular views morning and evening and very, very clean! It's a quiet location (and the short road leading to the home was an adventure in itself!) The owners were most gracious & we enjoyed the gift basket left for us. We would definitely stay here again!
Thank you for the nice note; we are so glad you all enjoyed yourselves! We love that home also--the views and the wildlife are always so special. It was a labor of love to remodel it and are happy that others enjoy it also. We appreciate your thoughtfulness in taking time to write and hope to see you again when your travels bring you to Tucson. Thanks again!

A very stylish, well equipped and comfortable place to stay. Superb views from the massive picture windows looking towards the mountains and from the terrace outside. Classy modern decor inside empathises with the desert setting. Quiet and peaceful but just a mile or so away from all the food stores etc that you need for self catering. A kitchen where everything works and the knives are sharp. Big beds and efficient showers. Excellent !

We travel to Tucson frequently to visit family. We chose this property because it was close to them and offered all the comforts of home. The owners were available for any questions and the property had everything we could possibly need and more. We were minutes from any shopping you would want to do and Hiking and other activities. This property was as beautiful and more than the photos, with a resort /spa like atmosphere. The birds and animals were so beautiful and so entertaining and plentiful. I look forward to staying at this property in the future and give it my highest recommendation. It is the perfect property for those who enjoy the desert while being minutes from everything.

We spent two lovely weeks at the Desert Cloud. This very unusual, architect-designed home, beautifully restored by its owners, is romantic and comfortable. Sitting on the deck in the morning, we enjoyed gorgeous mountain views and spying all kinds of desert wildlife -- humming birds, quail, coyotes, javelina, road runners, tiny lizards, etc. The all-new kitchen was great for cooking, the living spaces were comfortable, and the two bedrooms and baths at opposite ends of the house were quiet and private. The house stayed cool, and the decks were shaded by the house in the afternoon.. The location just east of Sabino Canyon Road was convenient to the restaurants, hiking, and other amenities of the Catalina foothills, including a large new Whole Foods Grocery. At the same time, we had the sense of being in the desert and not in a condo complex or a housing development. The owners, who are not far away, were unobtrusively attentive and consistently responsive. We look forward to returning next year to this lovely home.
