We had a wonderful time at this lake home. We had a foul reunion with kids ranging from 3 to 20 years. Everyone had a great time swimming , relaxing. Lots of room to spread out and big kitchen to accommodate everyone at meal time. The neighborhood was quiet and perfect for families.

Perfect Lake

The lake is absolutely perfect! Totally swimmable and warm water. There is even a beautiful patio to accompany the good times by the lake. The house is nice-- not anything too fancy -- but with the location, I never felt like I wanted to spend time in the house. Such a fun time.

My family had a wonderful time at this home away from home. It is everything you could want for a week away from city life. The house was big enough for all of us (9 adults, 3 kids and 1 small dog). My niece and nephews enjoyed fishing off the pier, swimming and making smores down at the fire. And the adults loved sitting by the fire at night. We would definitely come back again. As the description says, it truly is a "home."

Great house! Plenty of room for our extended-family gathering -- all 13 of us. Nice casual atmosphere, the pier and screen porch are wonderful, terrific view over the lake, very relaxing and a great place for a family get-together. Everything was very clean, well maintained. We'd definitely come again.

We enjoyed our week-end here a lot. The view of the lake is so pretty. There was plenty of room for all. The upstairs bedroom with a little balcony was especially nice. Very well taken care of - I would recommend this spot!

My husband is an avid golfer and loved how close we were to so many golf courses. He went to Nippersink, Lake Geneva and another one (can't remember the name). While he and my brother-in-law were golfing, we enjoyed long walks, Lake Geneva shopping, margaritas at the lake and swimming. We thought it wouldn't be kid friendly, so we left the kids with our parents. I wish we brought them. It is a very kid friendly home/area.
In the evening we went to dinner at the restaurant/bar on the lake and went home and started up the fire-pit.
It was very nice. Did not feel like a cabin. It felt very comfortable.
We'll be going there again- with the kids and the grandparents.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is so special about this home?
A: It works well with families. Mostly, grandma and grandpa rent the house and have their families up to see them. It has the most perfect screened in porch to watch the day go by, view the boats and sunrise or just watch the kids have fun in the water. Nice and bug free!
Q: What is the water like?
A: It's a lake so it is changing every day, but for the most part we have very clear water with a stony bottom. The waters edge can be anywhere from 2" to 2ft depending on the amount of rain. Its a perfect place to play for kids
Q: Can we dock our boat?
A: YES! We have a great pier for docking. you will have pier on 3 sides of your boat. It is safe for children and elderly people. We ask that you bring your own bumpers, etc so that you do not destroy out pier or your boat!
Q: What should we bring with us?
A: Usually there will be toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags, hand, laundry and dish soap. We do not replenish but usually the last person leaves behind what they were using. I suggest:
Towels (they are not included)
life vests (please use caution at the lake),
personal items/hygine, special toys (although we have a lot of movies and games).
We have kitchen supplies and some water toys, fishing rods etc.
We have a smart TV, bring your Netflix and Hulu passwords. We have wifi bring your tablet!
