Perfect Lake House!

July 8, 2014

We had a fantastic stay at this house. Our group went there for a short family getaway (5 adults, toddler, baby). The owner, Donna, has thought of everything and is very pleasant to deal with. All you really need to bring with you are your clothes, swimwear, and whatever you want grill/cook. The house is very charming and comfortable, and the outdoor area is absolutely perfect! It is obvious that Donna has put a lot of thought and care into this home, in order to make it a great escape for anyone. I would recommend renting this house to anyone, and have absolutely no complaints.

Prime Location

July 23, 2013

This property is in a prime location between Lake Elizabeth and Lake Mary. We took advantage each morning walking out the front door and just steps to the beach. The back of the house has a pier and we were able to rent a boat that was delivered to our dock and later in the day picked up. The pictures of the house clearly show what to expect. This is an older home however we had 2 families in the house and while I was a little nervous about all sharing one full bath we never ran out of hot water. The house could use some updating but definitely served the purpose of our trip. There are a few things that I would recommend bringing with you. Due to two families and a lot of cooking at the house we needed additional garbage bags as well as bar soap, paper towel, toilet paper and lots of bottled water as the tap water is not purified. The grocery store is a short drive away. The home is located amongst full time residence and we tried to be mindful of that keeping our teen children in the house after dark. We had a lovely stay at this property and as a matter of fact we booked again for next year.

Great property, average house

August 5, 2012

The property itself was wonderful. The views of both lakes were unbeatable. We were disappointed in the house. When we first arrived it had a horrible smell. Also the dishwasher was broken and had a lot of standing water in it with a lot of mold. Overall we still had a great vacation.

Owner's reply:

The smell likely came from the dishwasher, which was missed after the previous renters. I immediately had my cleaning person visit the home during their stay and took care of the issue. Won't happen again.
