Description from owner

We discovered Tybee by accident on a road trip and started returning as often as possible. After staying in many places we found the gated community of Savannah Beach and Racquet Club was the primo peaceful location.

This CORNER 1st floor beachfront is the very best! You get a sense of being right on the water from the kitchen, living room & balcony. Watching the dolphins play, freighters passing and shrimp boats (which frequently anchor nearby attracting even more dolphin) is mesmerizing. Check out the location on the building diagram, it's 121A.

The separate bedroom has a comfy queen sized bed and a flat screen tv. Being on the corner means an extra window in the bedroom and kitchen making this condo brighter and airier than interior units.

The living room has a queen sized pull out sofa and a 50inch flat screen tv which is great for movies & sports; plus my favorite recliner sits right by a gorgeous vista window so you can relax & take in that PRICELESS VIEW.

This is a fully equipped kitchen with dishes, pans and small appliances. Tybee has tons of nice restaurants but eating in can save lots on expenses!

1st floor makes access to your car and loading/unloading easy with only one short flight of stairs.

The swimming pools and beach access walkway are approximately 100ft away which is perfect because they are very close but don't intrude on your privacy.

No pets are allowed and no smoking

Come see for yourself and enjoy the awesomeness of the Savannah area and especially Tybee Island.

5 night minimum on holidays and 4 night minimum June & July.

About the area

Savannah Beach and Racquet Club is located on the north end of Tybee Island. This is the quiet side with the most interesting water views and almost a private beach (only 1 small public acess). You can see Hilton Head across the water and on a clear day the South Carolina bridge from your balcony. Historic Savnannah is only 15-20 minutes away and is full of history and fine dining. Tybee itself has Ft Pulaski, a wonderful public beach & pier, many many fine restaurants and our famous lighthouse adjacent to Ft Screvens. The tour there is like a hidden jewel because it is extremely fun & interesting and quite inexpensive.

“would go back in a heartbeat!”

Reviewed 12 Apr 2018

loved our stay on Tybee Island...Kat's condo was perfect...had everything we needed...loved the extra windows...made the condo so bright and the cross breeze was great...spent a lot of time on the balcony...always something happening...dolphins playing...coast guard trials...container ships and spectacular sunsets...access to pool and beach very convenient...lots of restaurants and a little gem in Tybee I said would go back in a minute and hope to next year!

“Amazing View!!”

We stayed here the first week of October and the view of the dolphins were amazing. They jumped and played and came really close to shore. The beach was very laid back and semi-private. Hurricane Matthew forced us to leave a little early, which was understandable but we loved it here so much we didn't want to leave. Thanks Kat!!

“Nice Condo, Iffy Tennis”

Reviewed 4 Oct 2016

Very well furnished, clean, and livable condo. Fun view seeing ships and boats come and go as well as seeing the dolphins virtually every time you looked up. Great commons areas and pool surroundings. If you're a serious tennis player plan ahead. The courts are covered with cracks and plants growing up in them. One court's center strap had pulled out of the court. And the most frustrating/amusing of all was the discovery that the inept grounds keeper from Caddy Shack must have moved to the property. He made 29 passes on his mower of a 25 foot width of grass while we were playing one day. Overall, a nice property and for most folks the tennis is not an issue.

Loved, loved loved our stay in this condo. Kat was great to work with and we had the best time ever on the Island. The North end is by far the best place to stay. Thanks for making our stay one we won't soon forget.

“Perfect getaway!”

My husband and I had a great time at this beachfront condo. It was the perfect size for the two of us. Not luxurious, but very comfortable. You don't have to cart your things up several flights of stairs, but your bedroom is in close proximity to the stairwells. We loved being able to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the sunset and the dolphins. This condo is very close to the beach and the pool. This was our first time to go to Tybee Island. We enjoyed exploring the island on our bikes and trying new places to eat. We also found a place to buy fresh shrimp to boil. This place is off the beaten path which was just what we wanted. The owner was great to work with and immediately answered our correspondence. We would definitely return here and recommend it to others.

“Great Location”

Reviewed 27 Jul 2014

Close enough to dining but far enough away for privacy. This was a great place to stay with my family of three. We enjoyed the views and privacy and all the luxuries. Short walk to the beach and even shorter walk to the pool.
