Description of the Union City vacation apartment rental
Our Place:

This is a huge light-filled 3 bedroom 2 .5 bathroom 1600 sq feet apartment in Union City, NJ. The apartment has two levels. Living room, dining room, kitchen and powder room on first floor and the bedrooms and two baths on second floor.

The flat is 15 min bus ride to Midtown near Times Square via the Lincoln Tunnel. As surprising as it may seem, this place is closer to Manhattan than other places located in Upper Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens or the Bronx.

This spacious private flat is comfortable and quiet - it has a three queen beds, each room with large closet with hangers and night tables. We provide bed linens and towels, but not maid service.

You'll have two full bathrooms and one powder room. No waiting for the bathroom!

You don't have to bring bed linens, towels or a hair dryer, we will provide you with fluffy clean towels and all you need to feel comfortable and at home!

The house is equipped with central heat and air conditioning. High speed wireless internet, and other convenient things like iron, city guides, maps, etc. are provided.

Feel free to message me if you need any further details.

This private flat has beds for six people, and we can provide you with a double air mattress for an additional 2 people.

DEPOSIT required.

Area Information
Our neighborhood is residential, green and safe. Being very close to the Hudson River that separates it from Manhattan makes this a top location to enjoy Manhattan's breathtaking skyline, day or night. Our apartment is a few blocks away the bus station which is serviced 24/7 to Port Authority Bus terminal in Manhattan, right next to Times Square (Read further down for more details about transportation).

We will provide you with detailed info/options on how to reach us from the various airports, info will include the option of our private shuttle (less expensive and more interesting than a taxi).

About Transportation: I have received many questions from people who don't believe it possible to be outside of Manhattan and so close to it, yet it's true. Here are some facts about transportation:

1. Apartment is 5 minutes (5 blocks) from the 24/7 bus to Times Square and 1 block from the city bus (stops at 1am).
2. The bus is very frequent, I rarely wait for it more than 2 to 3 minutes. Most of the time you won't even wait at all. You will step to the bus stop and a bus will be there.
3. Buses are available 24/7 so you can catch them even when you spend the whole evening out.
4-The price of these express buses is $3 onboard, and $2.50 if you buy tickets at ticket window #23 at Port Authority Bus Terminal
5. You won't find these buses timetable or route on the internet, it's a private bus company that runs many lines in and out of Manhattan

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What can we do if we feel like having a quiet day?
A: You can either stay in and chill out with some board games (we're happy to provide) or stay local and go bowling, go swimming at the public indoor pool, go see a movie at the theater a few blocks away, or go for lunch at one of the excellent restaurants near here.
Q: Can we really get in and out of Manhattan 24/7 by bus?
A: Yes - we like to use a private transportation bus system that we refer to as the "chicken bus". This bus operates all day and all night, every day of the year. It is no problem to get home even if it's 4am.
Q: Can you help us with things to do?
A: Of course! I love my city and I'd be delighted to help you organize your stay.
Q: Is there parking?
A: We can provide you with parking for one car. If you have more than one car, you will have to park in the municipal lot one block away, it's $12 per day.
