Description from owner

Beautiful remodeled three bedroom townhome in the sunny Sandstone neighborhood of Vail. Heated garage to pull into and parking for your friends. Natural rock and walnut floors lead up to the open living room with fabulous views of the town, ski area, and Gore Range peaks. Relax by the stocked wood burning fireplace while watching movies on a large full motion flat screen with 5.1 theater sound. Kitchen is clean and efficient with gas cook-tops, granite surfaces and all the cookware needed for a feast. A large dining room table open to the kitchen and living room allows plenty of space for the whole crew to enjoy the feast. Soak in the private hot tub on the back deck to recover.

The master suite holds mountain and sunrise views right from bed with the blinds open. A loft equipped with futon and small home office setup occupies some of the high vaulted ceiling space offering a little extra versatile space. The luxurious master bath is spacious and well appointed with heated travertine floors, dual glass sinks, counter space and seating, and a large custom custom travertine and glass shower enclosure with two adjustable showers. Guest bedrooms are comfortable and tastefully finished, enjoying natural sunset lighting. One with a queen bed and one with two twin beds. Both bedrooms have their own full bath with separate entry.

Convenience and sunlight in Vail describe the location of the property. With a car, all dining, shopping, skiing, and amenities of Vail are within 5 minutes. Without a car, it is all available without the worries of parking. Private shuttles provide service to the doorstep from Denver and Eagle airports to get you onsite. Once at home, the free in-town bus will pick you up and drop you off 100 yards from the doorstep every 20-30 minutes from 6am to 2am. Or just take the 10 minute walk down the pedestrian path to the Lionshead gondola. The Sandstone neighborhood is located on the hillside just across the valley from the ski area where the sun shines during the winter. Beaver Creek is 15 minutes away and also served by the bus.

About the area

The Town of Vail An ocean of blue sky and dry 75 degrees. An alpine village and a mountain that fills you with life. Hike or bike, raft or kayak, golf or shop, kids camp or the spa? Then ballet, the symphony, great chefs, celebration events and finally, the sleep of the contented. The Mountain Vail boasts three distinct areas of the mountain, each with their own features and fortes, including three terrain parks, seven bowls and 5,289 acres of freeride terrain. At seven miles wide, finding fresh tracks is as easy as finding elbow room. In fact, on an average day, there are only two skiers per acre, and on a busy day, only four!

Great location at a great price. Lots to do close by without the crowds of Vail. Easy access to shopping and I-70. Beautiful views. Highly recommended!

“Thanksgiving 2016”

Just had a wonderful Thanksgiving in this home with our family. Easy to get to ski lifts. (OK the hill to the bus stop is a little steep) Loved the view from the living room and the kitchen is great. Thanks Brendan for ease of communication and we hope to stay again,

Owner's reply: The harder you ski, the steeper the driveway is coming home....but it's always an achievable summit :)

“Vail Home away from home”

We stayed in this wonderful property for the Month of June. My husband and i and our 2 Labradors. The property is in a good location - between Cascade village and Lionshead village. Easy walk to Lionshead as the pedestrian bridge over 70 is about a half a mile away. Grocery stores and restaurants are all very close. Roomy townhouse fitted with everything you need - kitchen well equipped family room/dining room well laid out and very comfortable. The best part about this property is the owner. He was incredibly informative and helpful. He gave us many great ideas and information about the Colorado mountains and the amazing experiences to be had. The love he has for the area and the desire to share that is clear. We had an unforgettable time during our stay in Vail Thanks in no small part to our choice to stay at this property. Thank you Brendan!

Owner's reply: I thank you kindly for the thoughts and visit. Happy to share things that have helped build my passion for our mountain environment, and tickled you noticed. Next time let's go skiing! :) Brendan

I stayed at the townhome for four days with my husband, two children and our yorkie. We all loved it. It was a great place to stay. It was very roomy and had great views. We would stay there again, when we are in the area.

Owner's reply: Hope you all find yourself in the area again soon! Thanks!

“Great Condo”

Reviewed 18 Sep 2013

We rented this condo for the weekend with our family and had a great time. The unit is surprisingly big on the inside, accomodating three bedrooms. It very confortable both as a base to explore vail and the surroundings, but also as a place to just hang out; from the living area you get a good view of the mountains as well there is a deck that catches the sun and is a nice place to sit and read. Nice hot tub on the back deck.

Owner's reply: Thank you, I agree!

This was the second year in a row staying at this townhouse. We loved it last year and were happy to be able to rent it again. It is very up to date with lovely bathrooms and kitchen. The bus stop is minutes away so it's easy to get into the village without paying parking fees. The view is beautiful.
