Description of the Val David vacation home rental
The perfect all season family vacation!
This unique family home is on the outskirts of Val David & is a 5 minute drive to the local ski hills & Le P'tit Train du Nord linear park (bicycle path & cross country skiing).
Val David, the creative centre of the Laurentians, with art studios, shops & gourmet restaurants, is a 1 hour drive from Montreal, & a 45 minute drive to Mont Tremblant.
The house is on the side of a mountain, on a "dead end" street. It is extremely quiet & is surrounded by nature. The floor to ceiling windows offer incredibly magnificent views.
There are 5 bedrooms - 2 Queens, 2 Doubles & 1 with 2 Twins. There is also a crib & an extra futon.
The kitchen is fully equipped.
What a pleasure to jump in the pool or the sauna or the hot tub after a day in the snow or a long bicycle ride.
There are pool toys & snow toys for the children.

80 km to the north of Montreal, midway between Saint-Sauveur and Mont-Tremblant, Val-David is one of the prettiest villages in the Laurentians.
Val-David is also a paradise for Quebec outdoors enthusiasts in general, one of the oldest and best known rock-climbing sites in Canada and a creative environment for numerous artists and crafts persons.
Many renowned and amateur artists, writers and dancers live and have lived in Val-David, notably Québécois poet Gaston Miron, jazz bassist Charlie Biddle, ceramist Kinya Ishikawa, who hosts the 1,001 Pots - the largest annual ceramics festival in North America, the painter, engraver and sculptor René Derouin, who hosts an international site-specific art festival annually,
Visitors will be able to appreciate this special location, which is not quite like anywhere else, but is always there to be shared. With a multitude of activities for both relaxation and recreation, Val-David offers a marvelous combination of Nature and Culture for everybody to enjoy.
Santa Claus Village - on the outskirts of Val David - has something for everyone! There are more than 40 different activities, aimed primarily at kids aged two to eight. Whether they're cautious or adventurous, children can discover new activities each year that suit their changing interests and personality, making each visit a unique experience.
