This is the (Gateway to the St. John Valley). Come to this Beautiful town Travel down dirt roads to reach the Van Buren Cove for hiking, swimming, boating, and fishing. this river is known for it`s world record Muskie fishing. (The St. John River.) We are in walking distance to Main st. and the International boat landing and park. This park hosts numerous picnics and festivals. Van buren is connected to new Brunswick Canada by a bridge crossing the (St .John River). Every year we have a Celebration called the International Grande Riviere Festival. This Festival features live music,food, picnics, Flea markets,and a Festive Parade. This is worth a visit. Main street has many cafes and outdoor restaurants and a food store. Explore the cobblestone crosswalks and side streets. Many boutiques selling clothes, art, antiques and lots of other items to explore. The Caribou Snowmobile club grooms 170 miles of trails in the area, Connecting Van Buren to the other towns and groomed ITS 105 trails (Totaling 2,300 Miles) .This is a very popular area for Snowmobilers. Our home is right next to the ITS trails. Long Lake is on the outskirts of Van Buren which is great for ice fishing. Along with the muskey fishing on the (St. John River) 2 mins Away. Hunters will love this area. We have an abundance of Moose, Deer and Bear, Stay with us for your moose hunt in zones 2,3,& 6 hunt all day and come back to a comfortable and warm home. We are a 5 minute drive to Ouellette trading post. This is a Tagging station for Moose Deer and Bear, We are located near many resteraunts and local businesses. drug stores, dollar tree, gas stations and shop and save.

“Wonderful Stay”

Our family stayed here for a week for a moose hunting trip. The house was very comfortable. Great location and owners were very nice to deal with. We definitely would stay here again.

Great Home, We stayed for a Week Snowmobiling and ice Fishing and for ATV riding, Also stay 2015 moose Hunt, 15 year old Boy got a (831lbs) Moose with a 50.5 " spread, 4 Miles from the House.
