Or, walk to the Venice Pier and Sharky's Restaurant to enjoy the sunset, or enjoy a morning walk of approximately twenty blocks. In and around the beach area, you’ll find many water-sports and tour operators, as well as famous Sharky’s restaurant. At night it comes to life as the city’s favorite live music venue. If traveling with pets, treat them to a day at Brohard Paw Park and they’ll wag tails in gratitude.

Reviews for this vacation home rental in Venice, Florida
worked great for our family
August 7, 2014
We had 4 familys and the house and it worked very well. I do agree the house could use a little update, but we enjoyed it very much. Good location, but confused on the 2 blocks from the beach. Had a few hickups, but all was corrected in a very short time. I would recommend this house to others wanting to enjoy Venice and the ocean

Property was not kept up very well. First impression was poor. Upon entering, the blinds did not fit in the windows properly and the washer had a very gross stain all down the front that looked like throw up, floors left feet and socks pretty dirty as well. The hall bathtub did not drain while taking a shower and had a closet loover door that gave no privacy. The bedroom with two beds in it were shot with no support and the pillows where badly stained. On the positive side, the pool was very enjoyable and the kitchen was surprisingly well stocked. Over all the property was functional for our needs but needs some major upkeep and maintance, like repainting walls due to dirty hand prints etc.

The house did fit the needs for the family stay, room for all family members to sleep, location was a good plus, close to our family wedding on kasey key island, close to the shops, and the beach, real easy to get around, pool was a hit for all the whole family got involved, the down fall for the stay was that the home seem outdated and the pictures that display the home was misleading, but all in all was a good stay, not saying that I will not use your services again, but be more through and cautious with my next choice. Thank you again for feeling the needs for our family trip. Sincerely, Marty L. Anderson

The house was clean and the location was near the downtown area. The shops close early, but there a good number of restaurants and bars to enjoy in the evening. I recommend taking the short drive to Sharkey's. The house is a little dated, but it was in great shape and we enjoyed have the pool. Overall, we had a great vacation and found the area an excellent location to relax.

We had 3 families and this house was plenty big. There was plenty of bedding and clean sheets. Also there were many bath towels. There were a few things I will make a note of. Outside of the door to get to the pool, the water stands here and made it hard to deal with children. The floors were VERY slick in the house when they got wet, and there was no way keep feet dry because of the water standing outside of the entry door. Also, it is a pretty good hike with small children to get to the beach--10mins or so. Venice is a nice community with a lot of shops and resturaunts. We had fun!

We stayed in this house for a week in mid October and had a wonderful time. There were 9 or us and we had plenty of room. The house and pool are very nice. The only correction I would like to make is that the walk to the beach is longer than 5 minutes especially with children. The custodian, Dennis, is very nice and helpful. I would stay here again.
Very Nice Stay

We were extremely pleased with our stay at this home. It was clean- the pool was great for the kids and the house layout functioned well for our big group. Because of the multiple sliding glass doors, we were able to keep things open and welcoming during the day and closed some to allow adults to talk and play cards and the kids to watch a movie all in the same general area. The were bathrooms all over the place and the kitchen functioned very well. Location was great for walking downtown to the shops, park and restraunts and you could walk or a very short ride to the beach. Our only negative would be the light switches were very difficult to understand and was on were still dim inside the house.
