Description of the Vero Beach vacation home rental
Pristine two story beach front home. Direct access to the the Atlantic Ocean just fifty feet from the back door. Situated on lovely Ambersand Beach! Amazing ocean and riverfront views facing east and west to enjoy both Florida sunsets and sunrises!
Vero Beach is known as the gateway to the tropics, It is a wonderfully quaint area, and also a prolific citrus producer. Absent are the high rises, the beaches are vacant most of the time. The fishing is known as some of the best Florida. This home is on a narrow strip of land on the barrier island. It has few homes here and abundant wildlife in the water and on land. It is close by nature parks and preserves. This beach is a very active area for Giant Sea Turtle nesting. And during certain times of the year, you may have the opportunity to see one. Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge is nearby and offers Sea Turtle walking tours. To witness these Gentle Giants directly on the beach lay their eggs, crawl slowly back to the ocean is an extraordinary experience! This occurs in June and July. There are extremely active turtle nesting sites on the beach directly adjoining the home.

The house is a 2800 square foot 2 story bungalow. The 2nd floor kitchen faces the inter-coastal waterway. From the dining room table you can view both the ocean and the inter-coastal waterway with a simple turn of your head. The spacious king (Tommy Bahama bed) master suite has a walk-out balcony overlooking the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. The master suite has a walk-in closet, two vanities and separate shower and a large soaking tub. There are 2 bedroom on the western end of the second floor with a shared bathroom in between. The queen room has a walk out balcony facing the inter-coastal. The twin singles room has a window seat and double closet.

The first floor consists of a 2 car garage, a full bath, laundry area and a apartment. The downstairs apartment consists of a kitchenette, one queen bedroom and an office space as well as a living room with TV and wireless Internet. If you have a party of no more than 8 persons, you may rent the house without the apartment for a 10% reduction in rental rates.

They held the ceremony at the park as well as the reception. Then stayed at one or both of our beach homes just south of the inlet. We can accommodate up to 18 people if both homes are booked, 10 in Sea grapes beach home and 8 in Daisy Mae beach home. If you would like to discuss this further please contact us! Area Information
The home is located on a barrier island in Indian River County. On the East is the Atlantic and on the west is the Indian River Lagoon. The island is narrow in the location of this home, it has excellent views of both the lagoon and the ocean. It is in an area of few homes and wildlife preserves as well as parks. It is about 1 mile south of the Sebastian Inlet where the ocean connects to the lagoon and the state park is located. The home is also located on the treasure coast where ships sank with gold and silver coins in the 1500's and gold is still being recovered in the ocean/beach that is directly east of this home. The most recent discovery was over 4 million dollars! It is in an area of active treasure hunting on the shore/beach.
This region of the beach is also the most important turtle nesting area in the Northern Hemisphere. Endangered turtles including loggerheads, leatherbacks, and green sea turtles nest and lay eggs from March to October each tear. The nearby park gives guided tours during this season.
The home makes for an excellent combination to an Orlando theme park vacation, as it is only 1 and 1/2 hours from Orlando. It is also 4 miles North of the Vero Beach Disney Resort. There is excellent dining at the resort.
Please call with any questions about our beach home. Debbie and Jeff
