The view is the absolute best!! Good morning sunshine:) We had our family of 6 adults and 1 baby(had our own portacrib) here for a week. It is comfortable and adequate, not luxurious. This is an old Florida home and we could appreciate its 50's 60's charm. what it lacked in updating was made up for in the view and 5 steps to the beach. If you can live with that we recommend it.

We had a wonderful time! Beautiful views, and a wonderful secluded soft sand beach. It was very relaxing and a great family vacation. Vero beach is a charming, and friendly place.

Things positive about property: Directly on the beach, 35 feet from water, GREAT swimming and sand, pelicans, sea turtles, bunnies (in the yard) and lizards (all over the yard), secluded jungle like yard, pleasant patio to sit, snooze, read and eat on. Well decorated interior, lots of open space, a few fun musical instruments and superior AC system. Things negative about the property: Directly on public walk to beach; thus strangers talk to you in your beach paradise on the back deck. Cockroaches bigger than your thumb - none alive, but still...mouse droppings in kitchen and something alive, and large, at night in between the floors at exactly 10:18 pm - sounds like it's dragging a moose carcass so don't mess with it!. Eleventeen light switches that go to nothing, or at least nothing you can see when you flick flick flick over and over because you forgot which one it was you wanted. The kitchen was spartan; three pans, a griddle and a strainer, a couple of plastic spoons and a pitcher (dining service was adequate and stylish for 10ish people and matched - I just don't know where they'd cook it, and very little silverware numbers like 3 or 4 teaspoons, etc...). Half of the nice grassy yard from the photos is dead and now taken over by fire ants that will ruin your day as you watch the sunrise, and the sea grass in the photo has grown up and now makes it nearly impossible to see the sea from the deck. Not that it is important, but no internet and only around 20 channels on the TV, with weird electronica stashed in amoires in bedrooms with VHS tapes and no player, a computer printer (no computer) etc..., Things about the area that we noticed: NO Starbucks within 45 minutes (2 coffee bars 3 miles away), NO internet availability, free or pay, anywhere in town that we could find (I needed a single conference while there, and stole a signal from Islander Inn near the beach). NO cell coverage, or 3G in the house (okay, actually liked that). Highbrow retiree crowd (and pricey food and drinks)at restaurants and bars near beach, but karaoke meat-market bars closer to downtown and we prefer in-between the two types to watch baseball games. All beers in this town are watery lagers, even the selections at liquor stores. No microbrews anywhere on tap or bottled. Great experience, but not the best accommodations and we've rented several beach front houses. .

I have rented this beach house to spend time with my parents. We had a great time, the house is located at the end of a small road with wonderful views to the beach. It is quite besides the wind from the ocean. The house is open and clean, if you don't like to share your vacation with lots of people, this is the right place. Vero Beach is a pretty little town with all things you need, starting with great restaurants, a mall, an art museum, wildlife, even manatees. We have enjoyed the place and I would definitely spend time there again.

The whole draw of this rental is the beautiful beach right there for the enjoyment. The house, on the other hand, is in need of some TLC. Although comfortable, there were some critters that made us uncomfortable. When we arrived there were several dead large cockroaches, as well as some living. There was some type of animal or bird living in the wall by the fireplace or in the fireplace itself. A good cleaning would have made this a nice rental. Even the sheets on the master bed were coated in short gray animal fur. Were they not washed? I know we had to pay for a cleaning fee, but maybe it wasn't done before we got there. Gross. Also, not enough beach chairs so we purchased some and left them there; too expensive to take home on the plane. Also bought a cooler for the beach and left it there. I think the owner really doesn't want to rent, but may have been forced into it. By far the least rental-friendly property I ever stayed in. Won't be going back.

The house on Vero Beach was a great getaway. My parents enjoyed being able to just walk outside and be right on the beach. The house was spacious and had all the amenities of home. The beach was quiet and the weather was great! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a beach house with a quiet beach.

The house was very spacious and comes with everything that it says it does. Master bed and bath were great, awesome view. The other queen leaned to one side, but we survived. It says it has 3 bathrooms, but you can't use the shower part of the upstairs hallway shower and the toilet has trouble flushing. Biggest problem, we left on March 14th and I still haven't received security deposit back after a bunch of emails. I think I have been screwed.

Everything is perfect there!! Ample, modern and cozy space that has stunning views of darn near secluded beach for far as the eye can see North and South. Open the windows either day or night and you can hear the waves crashing. 10 minutes away from downtown Vero or Sebastian. Definitely now one of our 'back to' places.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home is beautifully built in a very peaceful area with quaint shops to visit after a relaxing afternoon on the beach. The lulling sound of the waves will relax your evenings and the beautiful sunrise on the water is a perfect start to your day!
