Description from owner

Deep Water - Location, Location, Location - 1955 classic home was first one built in this prime waterfront neighborhood in the center of Vero Beach. Come enjoy His peace, & praise God for the chance to experience some time in "Heaven on Earth"!

This home is not new, but if you can appreciate the charm of the good ole days, you will be extremely comfortable, and it is hard to beat this superb location on the mainland, within walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, banks and shops.

There are four bedrooms and three full baths, but the smallest bedroom is used by the owner as an office, and is not available for use. The large living room has a big fireplace which is rarely used, but adds to the warm charm of this primary gathering space. There is a large dining table for six or more, and a smaller breakfast table for four. For outside dining, there is a table and 4 chairs on the large covered patio. The original kitchen is not large by today's standards, but more than adequate to prepare gourmet meals.

The spacious added on master bedroom has a pillow top king bed, two night tables, a chaise lounge and 40" flat panel TV on top of an armoire. The original master suite has a pillow top queen bed, and the third bedroom has an antique, long full bed. The new master bath has a large shower, separate tub, toilet and bidet. The original master bath has a stall shower, and the guest bath has a tub and shower.

Beds: 1 King Bed, 1 Queen Bed, 1 Double Bed

About the area

Vero Beach is "heaven on earth", and truly the treasure of Florida's treasure coast! It is one of the most desirable communities in Florida, and all of America. There are an abundance of public parks on the sparsely developed beaches, along the Indian River, and throughout the community. The Indian River lagoon is the most spectacular inland estuary in the entire world! Bottle nose dolphin and manatees live year round in the lagoon, with many species of exotic water fowl and game fish. The small and peaceful town offers much in the way of cultural activities with two live theaters, an exceptional art museum, the national Navy Seal museum, and Mel Fisher's treasure museum with treasures found on the sea floor from sunken treasure ships, (from which, Florida's treasure coast got it's name). There are also frequent community entertainment activities, including art shows, boat shows, and regular FREE concerts. Grocery stores, banks, and great restaurants! Too may to list. Oceanfront 5* Ocean Grill has a historic and amazing atmosphere as well as fabulous food of all kinds, specializing in fresh seafood.

“The Joy of Vero Cottage and Vero Beach!”

Reviewed 3 Apr 2015

We had a wonderful vacation in Vero Beach and particularly enjoyed our stay in Vero Cottage! The home was very roomy and adequate for our needs and was in the perfect location for watching our Grandson play baseball in Dodgertown, to the Davita Dialysis Center for my husband's needs and to great restaurants, shopping and the ocean! We found Vero Beach to be a very lazy and relaxing town and even got great pictures of some Manatees we saw at a state park. We would definitely recommend the Vero Cottage in Vero Beach as a great place to stay for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation spot!

Owner's reply: Praise GOD! He sent a family of angels to visit our "heaven on earth" in Vero! We are so glad they were comfortable, and enjoyed their stay! How could it be possible for angels to feel otherwise in "heaven on earth"? Come again anytime!

“Home Away From Home”

Reviewed 25 Mar 2015

We stayed here the first part of March. It felt like home right away. Very cozy and comfortable. Just minutes from the beach, shopping and activities. Ken & Celeste were perfect hosts. Would certainly call again for a return visit.

Owner's reply: It is a pleasure to have good friends visit, especially when they are perfect guests! Look forward to seeing you again whenever!
