** Book this!!! Forget about a hotel! **

We stayed here last week after a long and delayed plane trip from Australia. The apartment was brilliant! Everything was as advertised and a bit more. It is so very central but private. You step out and you are the front of the Opera. It is spacious and bright. And the terrace was wonderful and huge! You also get to put out your laundry to dry on the drying racks provided without it having to be an eyesore in the apartment itself. There is a covered area up there to protect you from the elements if you need it!! This terrace would be great for Christmas or New Year stay as I am sure the city would look spectacular. The air conditioning and wifi worked well. The former was so important as it was pretty warm during our stay and it was a pleasure to get home a environment that could be cooled. The price may appear high but the extras provided make it really worthwhile for visitors: - transfers to and from airport. - delightfully fresh and delicious fruit bowl - a Nespresso coffee machine and pods are provided (plus plus plus you have a Nespresso outlet downstairs if you finish the pods like we did!) - toiletries like shampoo, soap, - drinks in the fridge and - a wireless printer!! what a bonus! Yes, the second bedroom is an open type loft arrangement but that was fine by us and would certainly work well for families. The magnificent space allows for everybody to find spots to retreat to during the stay. Most importantly, the owner and contact people were great. Responses to correspondences by phone and email were extremely prompt. I would highly recommend this apartment to stay over any hotel. I know that I would use this apartment again in future. Thanks for everything, Alp and Mr Serdal! keep up the great work and service!
** Amazing place, Everything that was promised & more **

Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location. This was my first time in Vienna and I was going to be by myself for a couple of days until co-workers joined. I was a little nervous about this, not really knowing the area that the apartment was in. I didn't need to worry at all. It is in a perfect location, and with the entrance to the building actually inside of a mall, it's doubly secure. The huge rooftop terrace was a real plus, and the bathroom was as large as some of the hotel rooms I've stayed in in Europe. I could not have been happier with this choice. Alp took great care of everything, even my ride to and from the airport. I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Vienna and hope to go there again myself. Thanks alp!

The apartment is very well located in the center of Vienna and near to the most interesting buildings, churches, museums, opera house etc... The extra service from the airport to the apartment and back to the airport is great! Could there something be done to the acoustic in the apartment : there is a very high hearing sensitivity.
** It couldn't have been better! **

The suite is based in the heart of Vienna, next to the Opera and very close to the Stephansdom. Before booking this apartment i visited some other ones that were advertised as central, and one had still to use the transportation to get to the center, so as far as the location is concerned it was for me perfect. What i really like with this choice is that the suite is in reality exactly as it is in the pictures, no hidden surprises. I mention that because different travelers have different needs and something that satisfies my needs might not be the same good for somebody else, but if what you see in the pictures is somewhat what you are looking for, then i strongly recommend you this suite! The place was very quite, clean and warm and the service by the host excellent. We tried to spend the most time outside, but it was also a good feeling when going back to get some rest to be in such a nice environment, we really enjoyed it. It is definitely value for money.
** Fab penthouse! **

Location is excellent, in the center of Vienna, across the street from the state opera & near the main shopping area. Apartment itself is fabulous, spotlessly clean, spacious, stylish and modern; a really cool place! And there are loads of little extras provided that really go the extra mile; a bottle of wine, store cupboard basics (tea, coffee, sugar, pasta and so forth), cleaning products, bottled water and all the toiletries you'd need (very helpful for packing light). The airport pick-up & drop-off service is a great way to ensure you start your holiday rested with no airport/transport hassles. Cant recommend this place highly enough!

We stayed in alp's larger apartment. It is lovely, the apartment is finished to a very high standard & Alp adds plenty of extras so that you don't need to bring things such as shower gel & toothpaste with you. The apartment is above a shopping center which has some lovely shops & a great supermarket. It also contained a little Christmas market when we were there. The views from the roof terrace are wonderful. Our trip highlight was the thermal baths & they are easy to get to on the U bahn & tram.

This is a magnificent apartment. The location is perfect in the 1rst district - we walked everywhere. We often feel that it is hard to find the luxury of home away from home but - we definitely felt calm and happy in this beautiful apartment which was really over the top. It's modern, clean and fresh. We want to come back for warmer weather to enjoy the lovely roof top terrace. So glad we found Airbnb and especially Alp's listing!
** Fantastic Viennese experience **
(Via FlipKey / 24 November 2012 / Spj)
This charming apartment fulfills the description provided on the internet site. It is quiet, airy, roomy, light filled and very well renovated. The two bedrooms are very private and comfortable, the kitchen is exactly what one would want - well equipped, well ventilated, excellent. Alp and staff provided a lot of delightful complementary amenities, including extremely high speed internet access, lots of tourist literature about the city, a large bowl of fresh fruit, an excellent bottle of wine and my favorite Viennese candy in addition to the complimentary pick up from and delivery to the airport. Alp was great to deal with throughout the entire process. The location could not be better - right across from the Opera, right next to the Karlsplatz subway station, only a few walking minutes from the museum quarter or from St. Stephansplatz. Two grocery stores just around the corner, also, and during the holiday season, a Christmas market with lots of punsch right outside the door. In all,it was a perfect way to visit Vienna. This was my fourth visit in as many years, and previously I have stayed in large and small hotels and pensions. This was comparatively cost effective and very much more fun and pleasant.

This is a prime location in Vienna--convenient to everything and with a great grocery store just downstairs! The apartment is a calm and soothing place to return to after exploring the museums, cafes, and streets. And, our host could not have been more accommodating or helpful. Thank you!
** beautiful apartment in heart of Vienna **
(Via FlipKey / 12 October 2012 / Lisa)
This wonderful apartment was even better than depicted in the photos! Couldn't be better situated in the heart of Vienna opposite the Opera, just minutes to everything - sights, concerts, parks, museums and galleries and restaurants, and a supermarket for groceries in the same complex. The apartment had everything we needed and more and we enjoyed a luxurious stay, pampered further by our host's gracious customer service and generous hospitality. Everything was spotless and extremely comfortable, all new appliances in excellent order. We (two professional women traveling to Vienna to attend a conference) felt safe and secure here, even when returning to the building at night. We have already been recommending this property to family and friends and hope to stay there ourselves next time we travel to Vienna. Thank you for making our stay in beautiful Vienna so memorable.
** Outstanding! **

This has simply been the best apartment rental experience we have ever had. The apartment was absolutely beautiful, impeccably clean, the beds and linen wonderful and the apartment was stocked with every possible item a traveler might need. The location is fabulous, right across from the Vienna State Opera and adjacent to a great shopping mall. The owner, Alp, is a most charming and helpful person. He picked us up on our arrival in Vienna and provided transport at our departure. We were welcomed as special guests. He even had a bowl of fresh fruit for us, wine and chocolates. What a lovely touch! We would like to come back soon and stay for a year!!!
**perfect location and spotless,beautiful apartment**
(Via FlipKey / 04 May 2012 / Helle)
I'd say there had been put a thought into absolutely everything in order to be welcoming guests to this apartment. From Mr artuner and his daughter waiting for us at the street 11 o'clock in the evening to the lovely apartment itself. In the apartment there was simply everything to make the stay pleasant, from a lovely Nivea cream for the ladies, nice generous amount of shampoos to even mouthwash!A fresh bio fruit basket and a bottle of white wine was waiting on the dining room table. And then: everything worked! The printer, the TV, the WiFi, the washing machine. The kitchen was really well equipped with good cutlery, knives and pots and pans. Everything in the flat was incredible clean and the sleep quality was fantastic because the apartment is turned to the rear side of the building. So being in the middle of Vienna and still have the most quiet night imaginable was fantastic.
** Exceptionally nice and modern apartment **

My family and I stayed for 3 nights in May. It was the best accommodation we booked for our Vienna/Venice trip. The service was very warm and welcoming. I have been in contact with the manager even prior to the trip, since it was our first time to Vienna and a little bit nervous. Mr. Alp answered every question I had with attention to detail and patience. The apartment also provided free airport pickup/dropoff which is so convenient particularly if you dont know your way around. The location is literally right across the street from the Opera House, and half a block away from the main pedestdrian street, as well as a block away from the U and tram stations. The apartment is bi-level which gave you some privacy if you are traveling with 2 couples. It was very recently renovated with beautiful decorations, and the upstairs bedroom even has a little balcony looking out to the courtyard. The management company welcomed us with wine and fresh fruit. All the bathroom amenities were brand new (unopened), and everything was impeccably clean. I would recommend this place to anyone visit Vienna, it is the best value in comparison to some of the older hotel rooms, especially if you require more than one room.

This was a beautiful, spacious apartment and an excellent choice for 5 adults for a 3 night stay. It is accurately depicted in the the pictures and is in fact, nicer than the pictures. It is atop a mall with a beautiful grocery and could not be more convenient to all the key sights in Vienna. Alp was extremely easy to work with and was very detailed and helpful with check-in and airport transfer information. Albeit short, we could not have asked for a nicer stay in Vienna. I would highly recommend this property and Alp for your Vienna lodging needs.
** Fabulous apartment in the best location in Vienna **
(Via FlipKey / 08 June 2012 / Wayne)
The Mar Suite is a true gem. It contains every possible amenity that one would expect in a high end holiday apartment. There are two large bedrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) and two bathrooms (one downstairs and one upstairs ensuite). The apartment is extremely quiet. The owners provided fruit, chocolates, wine, pantry items, clothes washing products, and more bathroom products than a 5 star hotel! We were on a driving holiday around austria and Germany from australia for a month. The owners met us at the entrance to the car park (which is located beneath the building in which the apartment is located) and then showed us where the Supermarket is located (within the adjoining building). The apartment is only a few months old and is extremely spacious. It is located above a high end shopping centre and located opposite the State Opera House and within a 2 minute walk to Hofburg Palace and the Spanish Riding School. This is definitely the best end of the old city as most of the tourist attractions are located nearby as well as the best restaurants, cafes and parks, and the Ringstrasse tram stations and the train station to Schonbrunn Palace. You walk out of the apartment and onto the pedestrian shopping and eating precinct that runs through the old city. We extended our stay because the apartment was great, as was the whole Vienna experience. You will love the Thoroughly Modern Millie elevator! I would rather stay at the Mar Suite than a hotel or motel in Vienna and the good news is that the owner will be releasing an even bigger apartment to the rental market this month! The owner showed it to us before we left and it is wow!

In Vienna you cannot get an apartment location better than this. It is literally 50 meters from the walking street which is filled with restaurant, bars and shops. The apartment itself is a nice 2 level apartment. Few things people need to know about 1. T he apartment has 2 bed rooms- one in lower level (the smaller one) and one in the upper level (bigger one). There is a spiral staircase so if you are above 50, you might want to stay at lower level. 2. There are 2 powder rooms and a separate shower area. 3. The host provided complimentary pick up and drop off from Vienna airport. 4. The host had the essentials like fruits, pasta, sugar etc available for us when we I would highly recommend this host and apartment for a Vienna stay.
** A shining gem in the heart of Vienna **

Mr. Alp and his team provides the professional excellency service to this new apartment. Definitely it is my luck to have a chance of staying in this beautiful vacation apartment. My family rates this apartment the best during all the stays in Vienna, Paris, Rome, and Venice this 2012 summer. The service on airport transportation is incredible great. Due to the last minute change on 6:20am flight to Paris, Mr alp was able to find the driver to pick up us at 3:30am to the airport without any flat increase. Apartment is new and very clean. 2 air condition at upstairs and main floor, are working well during the hot days in June. Beds in both rooms are so comfortable. TV program also includes English channels, that really helped us to get the news report daily. Bathroom is very clean and water pressure is excellent. My wife was able to use wash machine easily. Kitchen is well equipped and provides coffee and tea bags. Location is perfect which is next to Opera State House. Metro station is within 5 minutes walking distance. Supermarket and shopping mall are in the same building, what a convenient location this apartment is. We had bought the tickets for the opera show in advance and was able to walk there in 3 minutes. We enjoyed of staying this apartment a lot and will come back to this apartment again!

Our Stay in Vienna was not to be topped of all of our accommodation across Europe. The apartment was beautiful, spacious and central to everything. Alp and his partners ensured that we were comfortable on arrival and departure with an attention that can only come from love of the job. It was really appreciated to have those things available that you look for with an apartment such as salt and pepper, coffee and sugar and bathroom necessities, small but very appreciated to make a seamless transition without a quick trip to the grocers. the beautiful fruit basket and wine on arrival was lovely and certainly made an impression. The internet and printer were certainly useful for organizing, travel and other tour receipts although the hop on hop off tour is literally across the road and easy to organize. My two daughters however certainly made use to research after our long days the Austrian royal family on Wikipedia which made their trip and education even more enjoyable. On needing to leave early for a 6 am train alp was their personally to ensure everything was in order and the complementary transport arranged arrived. wonderful place that I look forward to coming back to as soon as i can.
** A very large and surprising apartment **
(via FlipKey / 21 July 2012 / Tommy)
Very good service from a very service minded person. House is very nicely decorated and large but remains quite cozy. Very much liked the air conditoning which could be needed when things get a bit too warm. Only down side is that one sink in the large bathroom didn't flush too well but that is a very minor criticism which I ensure Mar suite will and has promised to fix very soon!
** Fabulous service!!! Amazing location!!! **

Our family of three (mother, father, and teen) enjoyed five nights at this apartment in Vienna. The location is simply unbeatable: inside the Ringstrassen Galerien mall (which has shops, cafes, and even a grocery with fresh produce), across the street from the famous Vienna Opera House, and steps away from city center shopping and restaurants, as well as Saint Stephens Cathedral. We were also within walking distance of the Hofburg Imperial Palace and Hofburg Gardens The apartment is bright, comfortable, and quiet. We found it to be as advertised and pictured. Our host, Mr. Artuner, did a wonderful job seeing that the apartment was well-stocked. In addition to the "basics" we found full-sized toiletries including toothpaste, mouthwash, etc. Plenty of washing powder and fabric softener for the washing machine was provided. There was a huge welcome basket of fruit waiting for us on the dining table, as well as a bottle of wine and Viennese chocolates. Yummm! The wireless internet worked well during our stay, and we did have one occasion to use the printer that is available in the apartment. There is a large flat screen TV in the living room. We didn't do any cooking, but the kitchen seemed well equipped. Air conditioning units are located both up and downstairs and both were operational during our stay. There is a clothes washing machine and drying rack located in the bathroom. A clothes dryer would be nice; however, the lack of one would not prevent us from choosing the apartment in the future. A lovely bonus was having Mr. Artuner include and arrange our transport to and from the apartment. Mr. Artuner met us at the train station upon our arrival, saw us to our cab, saw that our luggage was taken to the apartment, and of course showed us around the apartment.. Upon our departure, he again met us and saw us off. Outstanding service! Our group very much enjoyed Vienna and our stay at this apartment. We would certainly recommend it!

This was my first airbnb experience, and Alp's apartment set the bar high for any future airbnb rentals. The apartment was as nice or nicer looking than the pictures. Our famiy of 5 had plenty of room. Alp and his staff were very helpful in getting us settled in the apartment and helping us the last day. Theywere available throughout our stay, but we only called them once with a question. There was A/C which we used a few days; otherwise opening the windows was enough to cool the apartment. We appreciated the WiFi and printer (able to print out boarding passes). Never turned on the TV or sound system, but they looked state-of-the art. Alp stocked the apartment not only with the usual toiletries, but also a bowl of fruit, a bottle of wine, and plenty of water. There were many brochures for what to do in Wien. The location was great - we could step outdoors and be in the heart of the city within walking distance to museums, Hofburg, St. Stephens, and I'm embarrassed to add Burger King which my teenage son loves. The apartment is above a mall, which includes a grocery store in the bottom level. Parking was under the mall - 20 Euros overnight - pricier than some of the other places we stayed, but worth it for the location and convenience. Alp has another apartment which was being finished. That apartment had a rooftop terrasse with a wonderful view of the city. We would be happy to stay in either apartment on future visits!
** Beautiful 2 storey apartment **
(via FlipKey / 28 August 2012 / Leonard)
We have have stayed in Vienna not too long ago (end of august 2012) in this beautiful 2 storey apartment. The apartment is located right besides the Opera theater and walking distance from all major attractions that are located in the center of the city. Apartment was very clean and modernly decorated. Separate bedrooms with a huge living room. Internet service was great (which was a must for us), so was the TV and availability of English channels. Apartment was very large for Europe, with excellent kitchen, separate toilet from the bath with shower. Excellent and relaxing to come back to after a full day of sightseeing. Food store is half a block away, so you can get what you need for breakfasts or cook a full dinner if you want to do this on vacation. Apartment owners were very helpful and responsive, helped settle us in and helped a lot with departure. Definitely would stay again, if we come back to Vienna (which we really want to do), which is an amazingly beaut?ful city, with lots to do and see.
