Reviews for this vacation condo rental in Waikiki, Oahu, Hawaii

Beautiful view, recently renovated, spacious!
Hawaii at its best
October 5, 2015
We stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village for one week in september and it was sensational. The apartment was clean and spacious and had everything you need. The view from the balcony was beautiful. We sat out there every meal. The resort facilities were great for our family with many pools, lagoon and restaurants all at your doorstep. Very comfortable for our 2 adults and 4 children. Highly recommended

Hilton Hawaiian Village
September 17, 2015
The Hilton Hawaiian Village is in a great location and readily accessable to Waikiki. It has all the amenities you need including multiple pools, a wide variety of shops and restaurants with the beach and the lagoon out the front. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment in the Lagoon tower and it was spacious and well maintained. There was live entertainment at night which was pretty good and a great firework display on the Friday night. Perfect for what we required. Oahu is a great location with Waikiki beach, Pearl Harbour and plenty of water activities - oh and maybe a few shopping opportunities for the girls (great....). We rented a car for the day and drove around the island stopping at a few location. It was a spectacular drive with the highlight being Chung Reef (Chang Reef?) on the north shore where there were literally dozens of turtles feeding on the weed on the reef on the shore line. We travelled at a reasonably quiet time and I wouldn't stay in peak season. The lift access issues are well documented and are a genuine problem especially at peak times. We had a few waits over 20 minutes or more around check-in times, but we also had times where there was no queue. The other issue was pool access which was difficult at best (we didn't go in during our stay as there were limited positions available at any time). We searched outside for additional eating options as the internal were reasonably expensive and not very exciting (our assessment and choice). We would possibly stay again as long as we could obtain the accommodation at a reasonable price and it wasn't in peak season.

This was an absolutely beautiful resort with lots to offer and the views were breath-taking. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect - w/in walking distance to a variety of restaurants and shops. Friday night fireworks on the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Ocean Front 2 Bedroom Premier Condo
December 29, 2014
We have few complaints regarding the Lagoon Tower Ocean Front condo. The views were spectacular. The condo had a fantastic layout, the furniture was nice and the staff were good. Down sides were that we had requested a high floor, but were given only the 10th floor. The kitchen lacked a lot of basics including salt and pepper, dish soap, etc. The complex is good for families with young children , but is extremely busy during the Christmas season. All prices within the Hawaiian Village were at least 15% higher than purchasing the same item from the same store from across the street. I would request a higher floor as when we sat out at the balcony we could still hear the noise from people using the pool below. Next time I go to Oahu I will be looking for a bit quieter of a place and probably will stay at the laid back North Shore of the Island.

It's all great here

Really enjoyed our stay at the HHVS Lagoon Tower. We had an ocean view room - it overlooked the boat harbour and on towards Honolulu. Couldn't Fault the staff - they were all helpful and very pleasant. Great location - not even 10 mins to Ala Moana Mall and 10 mins to Waikiki Beach Walk. A bit more peaceful than being in the heart of Waikiki. The entertainment at Tropics Bar is fabulous and you can get a reasonably priced meal there. Would definitely stay here again

Great Review from a Well-Traveled Family
January 7, 2014
We had a new updated and tastefully decorated two bedroom ocean-front unit with two walk-out large balconies. Fabulous views!!! Full kitchen, large living room w/ full size pullout, one king br, one twin br, and two bathrooms. Laundry unit on each floor is clean and bright. Staff is very friendly, lobby and grounds kept immaculate. We feel so lucky to have met rental agent provided us with a beautiful Christmas tree that was decorated with fragrant Plumeria Lei strands, it was a perfect Christmas and New Year. The Hilton Village has many shops and restaurants on property and there is plenty of room on the beach for everyone (most hotels on the ocean side of Waikiki only have small beach areas) All of Waikiki is crowded, it is a city; however, The Hilton is on the "quieter" end of the chaos. This hotel is perfect for everyone, we traveled this time with 11 people. In addition to our room, our family occupied the Tapa and Diamond Head Buildings. Everyone in our group would rate this trip with 5 stars.

We spent the week of April 14 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in a 2 bed/bath suite in the Lagoon Tower. Our party consisted of 6 people, 4 adults and 2 toddlers. When we arrived and checked in we were upgraded to a top floor corner room with ocean view which was stunning. The view itself from the balcony was worth the trip. The room was very spacious and allowed for ample space for the two toddlers to roam around and play. Having a full kitchen was a great bonus for all of us as we had the odd meal in the suite and it enabled us to keep enough food and milk on hand for the kids. The resort was gorgeous with great beaches and a really nice selection of shops and restaurants right on property. We didn't venture too far off property but when we did, the location was within walking distance of the strip, great restaurants, the big mall and the zoo so we took full advantage of that. All in all the trip was fantastic and the property was absolutely perfect for our group! I would definitely consider this type of set up for a future trip like this. One thing is for sure, even without the suite, I would absolutely stay at the Hilton again. Great facility.
