Owner Supplied Testimonials

1. Excellent kitchen for real cooking!
This was our fourth trip to Waikoloa. We had a great stay at this property. The floor plan is light and airy and beautifully decorated. It was very clean. We have never stayed in a unit with a garage and we loved the feature. It was so nice not to have to unpack the car after each trip to the beach. But for us the best feature was the kitchen where you can really cook. We love to cook and usually find rentals have a kitchen with lots of dishware but only one skillet, a couple of pans, and dull knifes for cooking. Not this unit! There was an excellent number of different size pots and skillets which were in good condition. There was every kitchen tool needed including glass and plastic measuring cups and measuring spoons. The kitchen appliances included a waffle maker, rice cooker, large and small crock pots, four slice toaster, good blender, and more. Also having the gas BBQ right outside the door was wonderful. We highly recommend this unit.

2. A place you would call Home a 5+ rating
This Town home is a Luxury to spend time in and beats any hotel suite. We were there for our wedding and it met and exceeded all our expectations for living and spending time with guests. The place is very very clean, well decorated, lots of space and we never felt cramped in any way. Beds and the furniture very comfortable. The Lani's were big with lots of room. BBQ right there so it made it very convenient for cooking. Shops walking distance away and a short walk to the beaches. The pool area very clean. The place had everything you need and before you go shopping check to see the spices and other things as it is very very well stocked and appliances are 1st rate. It also has all the beach toys, chairs and goodies. I would recommend this property to anyone who needs space, Clean, and wants a place that is a real home away from home with no hassles. The owners are great and make you feel more than welcome. 5+ rating and more. Highly recommend and would stay there again in a minute.

3. Our annual visit
This was our 3rd stay at this unit and absolutely love it! It is clean, spacious and very nicely decorated. We were very impressed with the well equipped kitchen and all of the beach supplies that were provided. Beautiful grounds, pools and great location. Close to shops, restaurants and beaches. The Gaddies are very easy to deal with. Quick response time and very accommodating. We love it here and will definitely be back! Highly recommend it!

4. Another stay in Paradise.
This is the second time we have stayed in this beautiful unit and we will stay again. The unit is clean , spacious , well equipped and in the best location at the resort. The Gaddies are very accommodating , easy to deal with and responsive to any inquiries one may have. We walked to the beach every day equipped with beach chairs, sand mats and a cooler to enjoy beautiful A Bay , from there off to Lava Lava for happy hour then back to the beach for sunset. This is a special place and I would highly recommend this unit .One more bonus , the entire property ( beach villas ) is non smoking.

5. Comfortable, Clean and Family-Friendly!
We stayed here for a week with 5 adults and one 16 month old. The villa was spacious, clean, nicely decorated and really wonderfully equipped from kitchen supplies to beach supplies. Our stay was very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. We had a few questions at the beginning and Michelle got back to us within minutes, so we greatly appreciated the response time as well. The location is great since there is a market/mall within walking distance has its own pool, which we really enjoyed using and it's close to some great beaches. I would definitely recommend this villa to friends and other family members!

6. Everything and more!!!
Everyone in our party enjoyed your gorgeous unit in the Waikaloa Beach Villas. Close to everything with gorgeous view of Mauna Kea and the golf course. All of our family enjoyed our reunion and we will all come back again. We were also very pleased with all the amenities, including beach equipment and kitchen supplies.

Very conveniently located to the Queen's and King's Marketplace and other amenities in the Waikaloa Beach Resort area.

Owner was great to work with. Would definitely rent unit again. We all highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a great place to stay on the Big Island.

7. Waikoloa Beach Resort
Beautifully appointed townhouse a short drive from Kona airport. Just as listed. Very clean. Very quiet relaxing area, yet close to shopping, beaches and on a very nice golf course. Many family activities close by. The host was very pleasant to work with and answered my many questions in a timely manner. Check-in and check-out instructions were easy to follow. We hope to come back next year to the Big Island and we will definitely try to rent this unit again.

8. Wonderful escape and lots of pampering in paradise!
We arrived on Friday night to a beautiful home and everything we needed to begin our vacation getaway. The beds were great and very comfortable. The space is gorgeous and we had plenty of space for time together and individual time as well. Four girlfriends spending time together, catching up, sharing old memories and making new ones. The townhome has everything you need to fully enjoy homemade meals, BBQ's outdoors, relaxing near the pool, or enjoying the beautiful beaches nearby. Michelle and Michael Gaddie keep a very clean and relaxing "home away from home" for all to enjoy. Whether you are a group of girlfriends, a family, couples, or a couple away for their honeymoon ~ everyone will enjoy every minute of every day vacationing at their Big Island getaway in paradise. Thank you Michelle and Michael for allowing us to glimpse and live in a week of paradise ourselves!

9. Truly a "home away"!
We've stayed at various vacation rentals over the years and often we find we don't care to spend too much time in them - being obviously decorated for renters and not always such a "home". But this lovely home was so comfortable and beautiful. Especially the master bedroom - it was like an oasis with it's own lanai and the best bed we've ever slept in! Five adults stayed in the house - and no one got in each others' way or woke anyone else up.
The location is perfect for a family with varying interests: beach lovers had A-Bay (and everything we needed for the beach right in the garage!), shoppers had The Shops, and travel to other parts of the Island was very convenient (and we saw it all!).
And it was such a quick hop in the car to catch the most amazing sunsets across A-Bay, especially from a table at Lava Lava Beach Club. And from the parking lot, you even have amazing views of the sun rising between Mauna Kea and Hualalai, with Mauna Loa in the background.
Over all, the home surpassed our expectations and we would definitely return if we visit with a large group again.

10. Hawaii Getaway
Gorgeous end-unit in secure & secluded Waikaloa Beach Villas. Very elegantly appointed 3 bedroom 3-bathroom unit, 2 story unit. Unit has a gorgeous view of Mauna Kea and the fairways with a very private main Lanai and one off of the master.

Owner has provided all amenities, including beach goodies and kitchen equipment. It is very conveniently located to the Queen's and King's Marketplace and other amenities in the Waikaloa Beach Resort area.

Owner was exceptionally friendly and very easy to work with. Would definitely rent unit again. Highly recommend this property.

11. Beautiful Waikoloa
We had a wonderful time during our stay at this property. It was the perfect size for our family of five, including two teenagers. The house was clean and well appointed. It looked just like the photos. It is located very close to the beach which you can walk along, swim, snorkel and rent equipment to use within the beach area. Further up the beach, turtles come up to sun themselves.

We also drove around the island to Volcano National Park and along Saddle Road to the visitor center on Mauna Kea to see the stars. The whole family really enjoyed both. The drive to Volcano National Park is 2-3 hours, but I think it's worthwhile to stay in the beautiful Waikoloa area and make this a day trip.

Would definitely recommend this home.

13. Enjoyable stay....
This unit is a lovely place to spend time on the Big Island. We stayed 9-days and enjoyed the location, amenities and tasteful decor of this 3-bedroom home. Very convenient from the highway for easy in-and-out. Michelle and Michael very easy and professional to work with. Will we come back some day? Absolutely!

14. Waikoloa Condo
We were very pleased with our stay, and would certainly rent this property again when on the Big Island. The condo/location/amenities were exactly as we expected. Michelle was very responsive to all of our inquiries, and she refunded our deposit very quickly after checkout. The condo complex was nice with additional amenities, and the location was perfect for us. You won't be disappointed with this property.

15. Great vacation condo for family
We just spent 4 nights here and had a wonderful time. The condo was perfect for our family of four. It was clean and well furnished, with well stocked kitchen equipment. We enjoyed cooking in the gourmet kitchen and using the grill. The on-site pool is very nice and close by. The condo is well located on the Kohala coast, close to A-Bay, Hapuna Beach and other spots on the northern coast. We also visited Waipio Valley and Mauna Kea which were a reasonable drive away. The condo is within walking distance of the Kings & Queens Shops and restaurants, which was very convenient. The Gaddies were very helpful in answering questions and responding quickly. I would recommend this location for families or groups visiting the Kohala Coast.
Stayed: August 2013

16. Family Reunion
The condo exceeded our expectations. It was a great spot for family members flying in from different locations for the half Iron Man race on June 1st. Our parents stayed with us, and they enjoyed the walk to the Queens Marketplace for shopping or Starbucks, as well as the walk down to the beach by the Lava Lava Club. I enjoyed being right on the Beach golf course (of course). The proximity of the condo to both the Queens and Kings shops was very convenient, as we ate out several nights and on other nights we did our shopping at the Island Market across the street and cooked in or barbequed out back. Excellent location and beautifully furnished. I will definitely stay there again.
Stayed: May 2013

17. Outstanding Property
Of the 30 or so properties we have rented over the years in various parts of the world, I would rate this as among the best. The house is spacious, furnishings are tasteful and comfortable, and the kitchen and bathrooms state of the art. The outlook from both the patios and the MBr balcony is delightful, and our grandchildren, who spent a week with us, enjoyed playing in the grounds and in the two well-maintained pools available to us. The house lacked for nothing in the way of equipment.and the owners had even left some provisions for our arrival as well as a friendly Aloha. Unless only interested in shopping and golf, both of which are within easy walking distance, guests need a car not only to explore the Big Island's varied scenery, but to get to the nearby beach with all the beach equipment that young children (and adults) need, and which was generously supplied. A lock up garage is provided.

18. Great Waikoloa Villa
This is a beautiful, clean, comfortable and well maintained villa close to great beaches, dining and shopping. Additionally it is a fully equipped end unit (light and bright) with attractive (not tacky) Hawaiian decor in a very nice gated community.

This was the first time my husband and I rented a condo, we normally stay at the local resorts (Hapuna Prince or Hilton) however you cannot beat these accommodations especially for the price!!! The extra room, the conveniences of having a kitchen, multiple bathrooms and a living room to just relax in without having to sit on a bed was wonderful. Plus staying here will actually save you money since you don't have to eat out 3 times a day or pay for parking miles away from your room. We will definitely return!!!

Just as important, the owners were very responsive and great to deal with. If you're thinking about renting this vacation home, don't hesitate... this is the one.

19. Wagner Family
Just back from our 2 weeks in Hawaii with one being at the Gaddie Condo. An awesome property with everything you could think of available to us. The description is accurate and we were not disappointed about anything! Michelle was very helpful in answering questions and suggesting activities for us. We were thrilled to swim with the turtles in A-Bay, explore the petroglyphs beside King's Shops and attend the luau at the Marriott. Thank you so much for opening your home to us - would recommend to everyone!
Stayed: August 2012

20. First Rate Accomodations! First Rate Owner!
This is an awesome, well maintained, and very clean accommodation that exceeded our expectations. The property had all of the amenities you needed, including a very well stocked kitchen. We loved the convenient location to Hawi, Waipio Valley and Kona. The beach and pool were convenient and enjoyable. The unit was perfect for the five of us. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

Michelle and her property manager were very responsive correcting some issues left behind by the previous guests. Their actions reinforced to us that they are owners interested in keeping this property maintained to the highest standard possible. Don't plan on staying here if you are not going to appreciate that standard.

We liked the stock of beach supplies, the garage parking for our rental, and the convenient walk to both the Queen's and King's shops. We plan on coming back.
Stayed: April 2012
